The issue I have with this is he should be aware that it would draw negative attention to his team and himself. Also, it shows a complete lack of respect for the victim and his family. If anything, he should apologize to his employer and the family of the victim. He doesn't owe us, the fans, anything to be honest. We can hate what he did, but we really aren't involved here.

Does anyone know the circumstances to which Odin and the other two are connected to Hernandez? I'm asking because I really haven't delved that deep into it and get those details. I understand respect for the family of a fallen child, but there are some instances in which I have to just concede that. If Odin is somehow caught up with gang ties or the other two guys were caught up in gang ties or drug affiliation, I don't get the "show respect for the families" angle. If Odin was somehow caught up in the other murders, I don't know if that warrants it either. If Odin or one of these victims willfully engaged in activity that can put their life in danger, then that's on them. I feel bad for any family that loses a loved one, but you reap what you sow. Now, I don't know exactly what ties the vics have to Hernandez, I really don't so I'm just speaking from my limited understanding of the case, but I want to know what these guys were all involved in before I cry a river and throw on the Odin Lloyd Tattoo and send out fliers for the candle light vigil.

Doubt there will be a 10 page thread on this:

    http://teampouncey.org/

I don't do 1/10th of the charitable work and community outreach they do so I really can't come down on them w/o feeling like a total hypocrite. It sucks that guys can do a ton of philanthropic work that's totally ignored and yet one photo attracts this much attention. It's more an indictment of the media and the public than it is of them.

There is no activity that warrants premeditated murder. None whatsoever for a civiilan.

I agree it doesn't excuse them doing negative things. Just adding a little perspective in the midst of the character assassination going on here.

If they want to support Hernandez and let him have his day in court that's certainly their prerogative, but to parade it out is simply an immature and insensitive act. There's a victim here, and his family and loved ones. There's also a preponderance of evidence here that, while much of it circumstantial, should have shied the Pouncy brothers away from making such overt statements.

If you are involved in "that life" essentially you aren't a civilian. I know I know....don't apply real life to war. It's their usage not mine. There honestly can be some gang affiliation or drug related activities in here. I'm not saying its right. But if you are involved in "that life" you know what you are getting into and you aren't a victim. Especially if you are out here running your mouth about activities that can get someone locked up. If the issue was in fact Lloyd speaking on the past two murders from AH....then he should have known he was next on the list. And if Lloyd knew about the other two murders....he certainly didn't tell the police about it. So why weap for Lloyd if that is the information that he was in fact holding.

Lost in all of this is exactly this......

Lloyd held onto information that let a murder to go unsolved (allegedly).....

Mr. Lloyd despite being a shooting victim, is absolutely no angel...

Because death is not an appropriate punishment for that crime. Further, if Lloyd was guilty of such a crime, he's entitled to the justice system this country affords.

I'm not discussing the legality of his actions. We can both agree that if he knew about the previous murders he was wrong both legally and morally. And you are right that his punishment may have been disproportionate to the punishment issued by AH or whomever killed him. What I am saying is.....it doesn't seem prudent to "victimize" Odin Lloyd if the behavior that he displayed and the decisions that he made were the very things that brought about his demise. I think that limits the extend to which you can victimize him. Just because you didn't pull the trigger doesn't always mean that you didn't kill yourself. Our decisions often put into motion the results, regardlesss of the actual mechanism by which that result is applied.

This is of course if he did in fact know about the murders or whatever. This is of course all speculation at this point.

I'd be willing to bet Odin was involved in whatever Aaron was. Their girlfriends were sisters. Aaron supposedly got mad at Odin for "talking to the wrong people." Aaron texted "i dont know who to trust anymore." Sounds like a gang to me.

That doesnt justify murder but like you said, Odin didnt run to the police.....that makes him partly responsible. Another person police were going to interview mysteriously died in a one vehicle accident. These guys were involved in a drug ring/gang, im sure of it.

I just wish Mike would have thought this through. He will regret it.

I agree. It does seem like there is something "bigger" than AH being a hot head and deciding to kill people as a result.

What they did was totally immature and irresponsible, period. And the posters here that are going by the "innocent until proven guilty" justification are fooling themselves. The hats read FREE HERNANDEZ. Not, HERNANDEZ IS A FRIEND OF MINE SO I HOPE HE GETS A FAIR TRIAL. They want their homeboy to walk the streets regardless of the facts. Its a total lack of professional judgement and they both should get slammed for it and I`m sure they will by their respective teams.

Could just mean he should be allowed to post bail. Zimmerman killed a kid in cold blood and he got bail and they knew Zimmerman killed him.

He did not deserve to be murdered. He absolutely is a victim in every sense of the word. There is nothing he could have done that brought about his death.

Nobody "deserves" to be murdered. But we live in in a world where people do in fact get murdered. Some people it's a tragedy when they get murdered (Trayvon) and some people.....let's just say I won't lose that much sleep at night knowing they are gone. I don't wish prison on anybody...prison is a horrible place. It makes people worse than what they are when they go in. But the fact is some people belong there.

He's no angel, but he's still a victim. And he had a family and people who cared about him.

Playing Judge, Jury and (literally) Executioner is not something that was probably ever meant to be put in the hands of civilians.
