    that's an interesting quote:

Joe Philbin said "we don't have any starters" when asked about the O-line. Says the coaches are experimenting.

Wow is this the first instance of Richie playing on the right side with the Dolphins?

Pretty easy to take that quote out of context. Not quite as bad as Ireland's quote last year about the receivers.

Prior to this off-season I'd say no. Don't remember hearing anything about it before now but you could be right.

Probably a personnel issue. We just didn't have an effective enough guy to supplant Incognito on the left.

Incognito at right guard could be a bonus for the running game.

He did play a little center as a phin also.

I meant to say his first camp here- The Dolphins drafted John Jerry to play on the left side(I think Armando Salguero had an article about it this off-season), and when they figured early in camp he wasn't really a guy who could switch sides Incognito moved and stayed on that side.

Dallas Thomas was most likely meant to play Left Guard, if he works out Incognito is probably gone or playing the Right side. I'm a bit surprised to see it being shifted around like that this early.

Incognito at RG could be a blessing in disguise for us. Unfortunately it is at the cost of an injured player. But potentially we may be better off. The old adage that u want someone stronger at RG and someone quicker at LG.

Didn't Tony Sparano flat out say that Richie Incognito was going to be the RG after the first practice that year? Then like 2 days later he was the LG and Jerry was at RG.

Richie played right side in St Louis and Buffalo. I think this is his first time with Miami.

Jerry played right side at Ole Miss. I find it hard to believe they'd have considered him more of a left side guy. Though he did fill in at left tackle a couple of years ago and wasn't awful.

Jerry was at LG the beginning of his first camp. Pate had that correct. It didn't last long though.

Richie Incognito briefly practiced on the right side with Miami in 2010, I believe.

It was never explicitly stated that he moved back over to the left because of John Jerry's being bad on the left side, but it's not a half-bad assumption. Although I do recall Tony Sparano actually saying he thinks Incognito is best suited to the left.

Betcha practice is gonna go up a notch next week. Can't wait for the 4th!

Looking at camp pics... Thiggy has gotten significantly bigger, wow! Spitler looks like a LB. I still think he has a bunch of upside. Him and Trusnik are awesome depth!
