what's odd is that Will Yeatman is nowhere to be found. I hate being wrong... I thought he had a shot to really make an impact this year. eh... it'll give me something to lookout for in the 4th quarter of preseason games this year. I bet he looks good again!
Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP32m "Now it's just about more repetitions and getting back in the groove," Incognito said It may be an innocent answer to a question about playing RG, but it could be read as Incognito expecting a more permanent move to RG than just today's practice.
after what I saw today, confirming his original douchery, and the disgusting favoritism he puts into his broadcasting career, that's what he is.
WHO in the hell would pick the jets to win it all ? my guess is those butt clowns at nfl network or espn.
Holy sh&$!!!! I just downloaded that new hd app ( hope that's the one) I can't believe what I have been missing, it's so nice, thanks man..just made my life a lot better.
I'm paraphrasing here.. "Cam wake on wheeler and Ellerbe, and he was smirking and laughing in a good way the whole time, I don't care what colors they are, all I know is their fast, they play downhill, and they get after the Qb, and all that makes happy!!!!" You could just tell there is a difference in linebacker play as it pertains to pressure..will it be better in the end, I think so.
It's uglier than the reality. Because of players being elevated or guys being injured it looks different. That line theoretically would have John Jerry and Lance Louis as back-ups as well. Adding Nate Garner, and possibly a decent player in Josh Samuda is pretty good depth all around.
Oh man, this new app is gonna make me post a lot more stuff..I can pause and come back here and write..good stuff. Wake on Jordan.."he's quick, he's quick, he's got that shiftiness, that aggressiveness, thats what you need when you play against guys 70lbs heavier, he plays relentless, never say die attitude, I'm glad he has that in him, and the rest is just technique.."
Philbin..(On the speed Philip Wheeler and Dannell Ellerbe) – “A couple of things we like on tape from these guys in the evaluation process was we liked their blitz capability. We thought they both had good tempo when they blitz, and they had some elusiveness as well. They had some instinct in regard to the timing of the blitzes. We thought that was good about them. They play fast. They don’t sit around and hesitate a lot. They trust their keys, they diagnose what they see and they go pretty quickly.” Reading his keys and going 100 mph is what some of us recognized when we signed him, slips thru traffic, great impact at arrival, very good timing and anticipation of the blitz".

Dallas," once I got that first rep over, got the jitters out, I was able to relax and start to communicate with the line...their professionals along the line, I don't want them to have to worry about me.so I made sure I knew what I was doing, so they wouldn't have to slow down.
I like this freakin kid, lol, "Starks was talkin a bit, but it's all good, he got me, I got him, it wasn't bad, I held my own."
I am if Rodriguez has a great camp, and Clay and Lane don't I wouldn't be shocked to see Rodriguez be the only one who stuck. That said, I know nada about the kid. Maybe he sucks.
works for me: Martin-Thomas-Pouncey-Incognito-Clabo two high draft picks playing their natural positions on the left with two proven bulls on the right they have time to develop chemistry before the season begins... could prove to be a very effective unit with Pouncey calling the signals never know, maybe this is what they had in mind all along they'll know what they've got in the rookie Thomas by game 5 of pre-season, if this is their mark
It's hard to get vets to communicate along the OL so this is going to be the problem that all the pundits and odds makers claimed it would be. Wish we would have taken Luke Joeckel.
How would that have been possible? He went 2nd, and we traded up to 3rd with him off the board. Do you assume it would have been as easy to trade up to 2nd overall?
The Jags were always going to take a tackle in the second slot. Tony Khan mentioned a stat multiple times in his interviews pre-draft..."Between 1998 and 2008, 71% of tackles taken in the top 10 made the pro-bowl while only 16% drafted outside made the pro-bowl." He then mentioned that stat right after they drafted Joeckel. I'm pretty sure they were locked onto a tackle the entire time. Unlikely the Dolphins could have done anything.
I suggest you watch Philbin's presser. There is nothing at all to be concerned about with what the line was doing yesterday.
That douchebag spoke at my church few years ago, two things were strongly evident and eminently more important than his Christianity: 1. He has not nor ever will he forgive the Dolphins for cutting him, and 2. He's all about Heath Evans and how important he is, how much smarter he is and 3. How the ONLY way to have a winning football franchise is "the Patriot way". I expect nothing but sour grapes from him any time it comes to discussing Miami Dolphins, which he avoids like the plague.
