IMO, he makes too much for even an average kicker. For that kind of money he should be top 10 for FG pct, and absolute clutch when games are on the line.
wow, worse than I thought, thanks for posting, like I said how can we debate this stat, it is what he is right.
If last year with Vernon is any indication, I don't think we'll see Jordan in drops (LB) until at least half way thru the season. That's about how long it took Vernon IIRC. I don't recall seeing it in preseason.
Ur the expert dude but this is nonesense until pads are on, the kick is off and the season is underway. I detested this pick from the outset but i try to keep it positive. Aint much else to do these days if ur a fan. One could whine and cry but frankly i've done it for so long im bored- switching it up for the hell of it. FYI im not saying ur being negative with this post. Im merely explaining my emotional situation. Ur check is in the mail Dr. CK. Anyway, back to my original point, we dont know a damn thing until the show starts. And if u dont know, now u know.
I just mean in general, long term, in all my looks at his reps in college you won't see me say he should be a defensive end rushing the passer, I want him to be everything and I think that's how you will get the best out of this player..A lot of his game is stop and start, COD, I would teach this kid all the positions, and build him up from that, I wouldn't say your raw, so were just gonna let you rush this year, nah, he can do everything on a football field, and that's where I would start the teaching process, a little bit of everything, nice and gradual..I want to see this kid back pedal flip his hips like he does and cover the tight end down the seam, I believe he can be just as dangerous in a situation like that to deter the play from being successful then rushing the passer..his game is free style, use his athleticism, use the length.
Wow that is shocking! Completely agree if Sturgis is anywhere close he is our guy, unless Carp agrees to a large restructure
Been saying this since i saw Devlin play. Hes got talent. Showcase the guy. U could get as high as a third for him. Yeah, i said it. Guess what we're getting now- nothing. Give the kid a shot to give us a shot, sorta speak. BTW, neone else having a shot? Im in the keys so heres to us fans.................... poor bastards.
I eliminated Carpenter first from your survivor game because IMO he was the biggest disappointment of last season. Even with a huge restructure of his contract I would still give serious consideration to getting another kicker. I view him as more of a liability than an asset at this point.
http://www.miamidolphins.com/media/...h_Turner/201f3a02-3d87-4b88-8bf0-0460de85c31f Jim Turner video from today. Sheds some light on the shuffling. Said that it's mostly about getting guys to be "well rounded". Talks about only taking 7 linemen to the games, so your 2 backups must be able to fill in any one of the 5 spots. Praise for Samuda. Said in 2012 they went into TC and they viewed him as an afterthought. He's strong, he's got good leverage; can block anyone. Richie Incognito is the same player on the right side that he is on the left. Wanted to get Dallas Thomas some reps at G. His reps had been at T prior to TC. Also, here's the "state of the offense" with Mike Sherman from today: http://www.miamidolphins.com/media/..._Sherman/918de3cb-a0a4-456b-b3d5-236f9c499fc1 Sherman on the OL: - Wants to get the best mix, best 5. - Key is to keep guys healthy. - Wants to figure out 5 guys from day one (assuming he means after HOF Game) because... - ...using the extra week to be creative and see how guys look if they're forced to play other positions.
Doesn't sound like it'll be a quick bounce back for Rishard Matthews. Hearing that he'll be out several weeks. 12:46 PM - 28 Jul 2013
I agree he was a huge dissappointment and that his contract was huge but I didn't know it was the 2nd highest, that is stunning

Phucked up.
DJ, here's one for you: http://www.miamidolphins.com/media/..._At_Camp/9d193381-92c2-4d0d-95ee-6eb9ed2699a5 Wake. Shirtless. You're welcome.
Worrisome statement for who, you? The Dolphins don't seem terribly worried given the investment they made in acquiring him. I wonder what Cam Wake's college coach thought about his ceiling.
http://www.thephinsider.com/2013/7/2...r-adam-beasley It definitely is Matthews. Tough break there. But this team appears to be much deeper at wr. This probably explains the signing of another wr today.
Coaches are experimenting with different lineups, as they should be at this point in camp. Unfortunately the media types are in such a hurry to "report" something, like how many bombs Mike Wallace has caught, that they lose sight of the bigger picture.
Opens door for McNutt, Collins, and Fuller. Not sure Bumphis and the other kids can step up. I think Collins and McNutt have edge, and Collins can return punts. I am assuming Binns is in good shape to make team.
I really don't know why we have so many people fielding punts that aren't Thigpen. It seems like Thigpen isn't working there at all actually, which I find incredibly stupid, the guy is explosive let him do his thing!
Rishard Matthews could be out for "several weeks" per Adam Beasley + posted by MartinH04 on Jul 28, 2013."
immediately what comes to mind is the scene from Juno when the kid and his buds are jogging and their dongs are floppin around..lol
Probably because they know what he can do and would like to see what options are there if he goes down at some point.
I meant Dallas Thomas. Listening to him, it was really funny how often he inserted a "ya know". Maybe he was just excited and nervous.
The "In Case you Missed it" video on the main site has the Mike Wallace bomb they were talking about, and looks like he beat Brent Grimes with technique and speed as opposed an egregious error on Grimes' part. Tannehill could have even thrown it a little farther if he wanted to.
So....based on one day of contact, one throwaway line from a college coordinator (who really never figured out how to use Dion Jordan every down) and a few blurbs on Twitter we have a bust and a wasted pick. What. ****ing. Ever.
Sweet little Lauren in the background, talking to Ryan, probably missing seeing her big fella much, what with camp going on.
Ok this is where I take a stand, lol, the scene was meant for everyone to look at their dongs floppin all over in those little Bruce Jenner shorts, I mean they even went slow motion on it C..someone back me up here that the dong floppin was the joke!!!!lol.
lol..I swear man, she actually references the dongs in the movie right before the scene, thats why they showed the scene, and then they go to the shot of slow mo running...come on man..lol
