Seabass' July 28 Training Camp Notes

Finally after a week of not being able to go to a training camp I was able to return

Tannehill to Keller for 10 after waiting in pocket for a while for someone to get open. Changed reads multiple times

Tannehill to Thigpen for 12 yards

Tannehill to Wallace for about 22 yards on an inside slant

Tannehill to Gibson, ball hit out of hand by mccray

    Tannehill to Rodriguez for 7

    Second team

Devlin to Wallace, ball overthrown to Wallace

Devlin to Miller for 10 who gets leveled after catch

Moore to Gibson for 10 with room outside that could be a touchdown

Moore to Lane for 2 yards, Lane catches with one hand and runs for 7 untouched

Moore to Tyms with a very inaccurate pass

Devlin to Fuller for about 17 yards

Devlin to Bumphis for 7, then Bumphis takes of for 7 more

Devlin to mcnutt incomplete. I think mcnutt just stopped running the route or expected the ball somewhere else

Moore pass is batted down by Lle Robinson

Another day, another tome Carrol downs a punt at the one

Caroll lets that punt get by him off a bounce, to be fair Fields kicked it to the endzone line

    Incognito still at RG

Gillislee with a nice cut for a wide open touchdown

Binns seems to be hurt. He cut back for a pass and may have injured his ankle on it

#15 (new player?) with a nice cutback but cant come up with it

Harrline beats the defender outside and catches

Mcnutt gets open deep but drops it

Tyms with a good hook and catches

Hartline with a great route and catches it

    Trainers still working with Binns

Miller runs outside, slips out of a tackle and gains 8

Miller runs through a gap made by Incognito and Clano for 7

Pass to Wallace is broken up by Grimes who shows great speed

Tannehill hands it to Thoms for 3

Devlin to Gibson for a 20 yatd touchdown

Note: Thigpen lining up as a WR

Screen to Gray after a blitz for 10

Devlin to Wallace in the endzone for a 10-yard touchdown

Devlin rolls right, throws and Misi hits it away

Tannehill rolls right but is sacked. Not sure by who but I think it was vaughn Martin

    Starks and Odrick starting inside

    Incognito is LG

Audible by Tannehill. Tannehill runs a read option and keeps it

Tannehill connects with Wallace for 9

Devlin to Sims whi is wide open for 10. Falls with the catch so no extra yards

Devlin to Gibson for 6 yards

Devlin to Thomas outside for about 5 yards

Dion Jordan is blocked by Sims who keeps him there as Thomas runs down the middle

Pouncey playing RG now with Samuda at C and Incognito at LG

Tannehill to Hartline in the end zone who ran horizontally through it

    Pouncey back at center

Tannehill throws it to the corner of the end zone to Thigpen who comes up with a catch. Great play

Kick return looking good with some wide open runs

Carpenter makes a 45 yard field goal

Wake catches Thomas behind the line with a good 'ol bear hug

Pocket collapses with nobody open, Tannehill throws it away deep

    Fight!!
Samuda and Odrick get into it after the whistle. Samuda throws him to the ground. Players crowd, hold Odrick back, and end it

Devlin overthrows Tyms deep down the field

Devlin to the hands of Egnew who drops it

Tannehill to Kellee for a 15 yard touchdown

Wake gets to Tannehill who throws it away

Pass Interference on Wallace for holding Carroll and pulling him away from the ball

Off a play action, Tannehill throws to Mcnutt for a nice 20 yard play. Mcnutt catches with one hand and pulls it in

Moore is picked off in the endzone by Stanford. Great interception

Moore to Hartline behind the endzone for a touchdown

Devlins pass to Bumphis is dropped

Devlin passes deep to Mcnutt, overthrown

Don Jones gets to a Devlin pass first and almost intercepts it

    Tannehill short to Gibson

Tannehill to Hartline for about 8

Tannehill to Hartlune again for 20

Ball hit hands of Tyms and pops out, Grimes drops the interception. I saw Adam Beasley tweet it was Gibson, but it was Tyms

Pocket collapsed and Tannehill runs for 15

Tannehill's pass is knocked down at the line

Tannehill throws deep to Mcnutt who catches it in the endzone. Great play

Pocket collapses and Devlin runs for 10

Devlin throws to Thigpen, incomplete pass

Devlin to Sims for 20-ish yards

Devlins pass is picked off by Will Davis who would have had 6 points.

Overall it was a balanced camp, I did not see all the drops Omar seems to be obsessed with. I found it weird that Thigpen lined up as a receiver but he did good in that position. Egnew was completly invisible today. My winner of the day would be Hartline who was open all day and caught everything in his path.

Fantastic. Tannehill seems like he had a good day, no? Also, any word on Dion Jordan?

Thanks for making the commute over from Mexico City for these practices. ;)

Samuda body slams Odrick, love it.

Yeah I agree, he had a good day. A few incompletions, but other than that he hit every target perfectly. I saw some Dion Jordan action out there, but not much. They are easing him in I think. He played as a backup for a few snaps, no big plays though

Thank you! So nice to see a recap without the snide innuendo's that seem to follow most every report tweet from the print media guys, mostly from a couple in particular. Now that it is over we welcome any personal impressions from you. That would be a most refreshing change.

    Canada EH!
You watch, we cut Egnew, Pats sign him. Then he becomes a pro bowl TE for them for the next 10 years.

So, we're going to ignore the good practices Egnew did have prior to this one?

Drops a hand off? This isn't the first day of training camp. On other notes, the batted ball and no open receivers are also concerning.

Sorry I mis read it. I'm not sure why I would have though Devlin would have been handing off to Egnew anyway.

I personally just don't see the spot for him on this roster. Hes the 4th TE, no doubt about it. Will we keep 4 TEs? That's the question...
