You guys ever been up to Lambeau at all for a game or a home game in Miami vs Green Bay. I think someday it would be cool to attend a Packers vs Dolphins game in Miami. I have never been to a road game and that would be the game I would love to go to. I think you guys are one of the few stadiums that you can wear your team's colors at without any hassle. I hope Miami has a great season, God bless.
You will most likely get that in every stadium. I know you guys don't hate us as much as the Pats or the Jets so we might be ok lol.
I've seen 5-6 games here in Denver and I wear my Dolphins gear and have never had a problem. Now I sit in the lower section or the club, that might have something to do with it.
If I had a second favorite team it would be Green Bay and the Giants of coarse. Green Bay is a true football town.
I went to the Dolphins vs. Packers game in Lambeau in 2010 when Miami won in OT. I have to say that of all the NFL and college stadiums I've been to, Lambeau is by far the best. My buddy and I made a weekend of it. He lives in Milwaukee, so we did a brewery tour on Friday night in downtown. We woke up Saturday morning and drove to Madison (his dad gave us tickets to the Wisconsin vs. OSU game) and were at the last 2 hours of College Game Day. We tailgated all day afterwards and made a stop at a bar ("The Varsity"? I think, can't remember. DJ wouldn't have approved of what we at that day. At all). Wisconsin upset Ohio State that night when OSU was ranked #1, so we tailgated again after the game. Somehow, we managed to drive from like 2am - 4am and got to a friends house in Oshkosh. That morning we drove to Lambeau and paid $10 to park in some guys front yard. His wife was serving burgers, brats, and beers in the backyard like a block away from teh stadium so we ate there and went to the game. Obviously I was wearing my Dolphins gear, but Packers fans were the MOST knowledgeable fans of NFL team I've been around and were very eager to learn more about Miami and the Dolphins players. Being jammed packed into the bleachers was an experience in itself. You're basically forced to stand or sit when everyone else in your row does...so I was standing for Packers TDs because I had no choice, and couldn't really stand up when Miami score. All in all, it was a great experience! I had previously been to a Packers game at Lambeau when they played Minnesota, when Favre was still there, and that was great as well. I'd encourage any football fan to make the trip to Lambeau - it's as awesome as everyone says it is. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to check out the Packers Hall of Fame.
Went to the Packers - Seahawks preseason game at Lambeau a few years back (Dad was a big Packer fan and this was his only trip to Lambeau). It was a great atmosphere even for a pre-season game that was pissing down rain. Should be right up there with Wrigley Field on people's bucket lists. It was a really awesome trip (unfortunately one of the last with my father). Went to both Chicago baseball fields, Shedd aquarium, a game at the then very new Milwaukee ball park, a visit to the Miller brewery and then on to the Packer pre-season game and back for a final Wrigley game before heading home.
Been Lurking for a long time but I am so excited for the fins this year I had to sign up. Man I am so pumped!! Lets go Dolphins!
Missed a helluva opportunity to see the Packers in the playoffs at Lambeau. It was the playoff game, Detroit visiting, 1994-5 season, where the Pack won and held Barry Sanders to negative rushing yards on the game. Brother-in-law had an extra ticket, I was in Milwaukee with the family before shipping off on a 6 month cruise in a few weeks, so I chose family time. Won't say I truly regret it, but I always wonder how great that would've been, seeing as it would've been my first NFL game. Packers are my NFC team, wish y'all the best on the season too A, with the exception of a Super Bowl win over the Dolphins!
The problem for Packers fans visiting Miami isn't getting heckled by Dolphins fans, but rather is that they are all so pale and are lobster red by the start of the 2nd quarter. Bring a ton of sunscreen if you ever make the trek.
