Chad Bumphis did a lot more good than bad. There were like 5 drops in that half and a pick-6 could have happened on any one of them. Bad luck Holloman took the ball and returned for a TD but Chad is still far into the plus column IMO.

IMO, best so far are Dion Jordan and Mike Gillislee.

 

Hmm I saw D.Shelby disrupt a few plays.

Liked the way Lamar ran after the fumble.

 

Nice seeing Egnew in the slot. He's getting open and hasn't dropped a pass so that's a plus for now.

Didn't think Shelby had a poor showing on that first drive at all really. One or two plays he could've done more but on one play I see people blaming him for, he was doubled and yet stayed rooted. Not his fault runner got yards off his side when he's doubled like that. He did his job and helped the D.

 

Was really impressed with Egnew's blocking...relative to his reputation.

He looks so fast. He's gone if the Hole is there. That's great to see. Just wish he didn't fumble...

Samuda been solid all the way around but he did have a standout block down the field on a big run by Miller. Had another good one early too.

 

I think you need to get acquainted with the ignore function. Just sayin. Life will be easier for you.

 

If we're not worrying about him being an inline blocker I don't see why he can't get the job done as he further solidifies his sea legs.

 

He reminds me of Black Jesus.

 

Miller ran nice after that fumble. Probably just jitters. He can fly.

Jordan is going to be a hell of a player.

Tannehill never looked comfortable.

Gillislee and Gray ran well.

Tyms looks like a nice target to throw to.

Bumphis looks very quick. Alligator armed that pick 6 though.

Not worried about the defense at all. It's all on Tannehill this year.

 

Ireland did look like he was going clubbing after the game though lol.

 

BTW, anyone drinking anything special in the spirit of National IPA Day?

Not impressed with that half.
Turnovers and Cowboys winning most 1 on 1 battles.

Still very early in preseason so perspective.

Interested to see if Philbin can get the focused and riled up to have a decent showing in the 2nd half.
