Anyone think Bumphis is moving closer to roster. I have watched him here in Mississippi for four years. He got better every year. And remember he did what he did in the SEC West, where Alabama, Auburn, LSU, and Arkansas are. And someone tell Omar he did not go to Ole Miss. I swear Omar could give a rat's behind about getting his details right. If he doesn't think you are roster worthy he just doesn't care. There are guys on this board that would embarrass him in his own job.
66 is from Fresno St. and about as tall as Jordan. He is just not as explosive. 69 is shorter, but stronger.
I do think Bumphis COULD make the team. Depends on what Matthews status is. Tyms/McNutt/Bumphis are right there... Damnit... Devlin run the two minute, lets run it up!
Someone give us a list of good and bad when you can for those of us that didn't see game. I will watch it on Sunday a.m.
66 was listed as 66 at Fresno, so I buy he is shorter. But 69 was listed at 63 in college and most thought he was more like 62. I think they have different body types.
John. Mother ****ing. Denny. I do not get the defense of Thomas. He had a couple of good runs, and it may just be me, but damn, it seems like he gets those runs in spite of himself. The only way I can put it, is that he makes every run look difficult. Dion and Robinson(?) teleported into the backfield on one play and blew it up. I like Gray. I think he's the number 2. I like Devlin. I think he's the number 2 as well. I think Moore has a case of the PennyArm all of a sudden. I think Sturgis made the team. I like Sims. I think Davis is for real. I think this game was meaningless.
I'll keep it simple and not be too anal retentive. I had a great time watching the game, and it was much better than last Sunday's game against the Cowboys. I believe in my heart that we've got a good team that's ready to make a difference from last year. Go Phins! That is all.
Delicate, lemony, soft, with a little crispness from the fire... Kinda like that piece of flesh that hangs out the back of a pair of cut off Levi's on a hot chick, supple and delicious.. What the hell was that stunt that the Kracken did, lol, did you see that sh&$!!!, that boy schooled that #2 pick.. Gray, Tyms, Gillessie, Mcnutt..don't see it yet. Davis, Sims, Bumphis look like keepers. Guess we'll have to keep 1 of those backs..

From the camp reports I've read, T buck was a name that Ive been thinking of. in short to intermediate coverage he was a ball hawk. It was deep plays where he struggled most.
This is your weekly Will Davis report: 28 Snaps (25 last week) 12 Run 15 Pass 1 No Play Run Snaps - 12 1 Ast Tackle 9 No Attempts 2 Bad Angle Pass Snaps - 15 12 No Targets 1 Completion (Jeremy Ebert) 1 Interception 1 Batted at line (Came from right slot blitz) Formation 6 Left Slot 11 Right Slot 11 Right Side Overall If you're keeping track at home that means through 2 games Davis has played 25 pass snaps, been targeted on 4 of passes; been beat on 2 (PI counted), intercepted 1, and incomplete on 1. This means Davis has been targeted once every 6.25 plays thus far. He's also played 53 total snaps broken down to 25 pass and 28 run. Finally for your viewing pleasure, here's Davis' interception:
Someone, during the camp reports comment that Matt Moore's arm looked tired. Devlin was hurt and he and RT17 had to carry the workload in practice. Matt also got a bunch of extra reps on Sunday nights game too. Not too worried about it. No thanks to Devlin as #2. I'll take the proven winner. A tired arm and a bad game doesn't erase Moore's previous contributions.
Beats the hell out of me. I'll probably go through and see how it compares to someone like....RJ Stanford who played in similar packages/ competitions. Right now, just use it as a pseudo qualitative/quantitative accounting of his play. Really, we're two games into the preseason and none of it means sh*t. I'm counting each week so at the end of preseason I can get a good feel for how he played (perhaps relative to other Dolphins' CBs). It also gives me an excuse to go back and rewatch a player I like quite a bit. So like I said, beats the hell out of me what it means.
Before Matt Moore was the Matt Moore we know...he was more or less Pat Devlin. I think Devlin makes Moore expendable in the near future honestly.
Davis also had an unassisted open field tackle on one play. Cannot recall if it was on a run or pass, but thinking it was after a catch.
