Did u saw him play vs Tenessee that was very Impressive never saw him that good..Maybe if they cut him we could use him for some packages
if they cut him, why would we want him? I'm pretty satisfied with our playmakers. our biggest hurdle right now is getting the Oline some cohesion so we have time to get the ball to our playmakers.
welcome to the present, that boat sailed 3 years ago. he was mediocre when we drafted him to run the wildcat, why the heck would we bring him back to run the wildcat when we now (hopefully) have a real QB? he's a failed expt.
Did you guys see how that Chad Henne kid lit up Houston last year? If he doesn't win the job in Jacksonville we should give them a call. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk 2
White did look decent last week. Highly doubtful that Washington cuts him though. Miami wouldn't, and shouldn't, be interested anyway.
Pat was a college star and he plays well against weak competition like backups and scrubs .When you put him against the big boys he is outclassed. He is not only small and frail but he is not even very fast.
I don't need him on this team. He did his job. He saved my Redskins +3 pick for that game. And yes I actually figured him into my analysis that led to me picking the Skins in that game. Running quarterbacks absolutely TERRORIZE preseason defenses. They're not prepared to defend them.
I wish him the best but I believe we've moved on from that type of offense. I'm glad to see him still playing after that hit he took.
What I want is the package where Tannehill throws touchdown passes to Wallace, Hartline (wait... what?), Gibson, Keller, Clay, Miller, Simms, Matthews, and Bumphis. Maybe even Egnew. Give me that package please. As far as White: Been. Done. No.
Eh, for me, he so rarely played for us forming an opinion on his Qb competency at this point is merely bias, like dredging up the hit from the stealers game, it has no bearing at all save to confirm bias.
Because he was made of glass. Between his inability to take a hit and Ted Ginn running out of bounds we had to go with more of a NFL type player ones with a pair that dropped.
Just for fun I went back and watched the game on Preseason Live. I never liked the Pat White pick and don't see a use for him. But after watching that game it is obvious that he is a different player than he was when we had him. He is bigger and outclassed everyone on the field. True it was against 3rd teamers but he was easily the best player on the field. He made it look easy abusing those guys. He had 2 EASY passes dropped. But he moved the ball at will down for the TD. He will be very vauable to a team this year as a 3rd QB who can run a scout team when a team is playing a team who runs the zone read. He will never wear a dolphins jersey again, but go watch the 4th q in that game before you say he won't play again in this league. People develope at different speeds. Cam Wake couldn't make it out of camp his rookie year, now he is one of the best in the league. Never say never.
I hate to jinx this thread... But it could end up rivaling 'Zach Thomas at SS.' Let's make it happen, people.
Can he play RG? Can he be our backup placekicker and punter too? If so, sign the man. His signing bonus should be a weekend fishing trip with Marcus Vick.
Honestly when I read the title of the thread I was expecting more of a "Pat White vs the state of Tennesse lawsuit" type of thread than this
That kid Jay Fiedler lit us up for 62 points and terrorized the Ivy League. What's he doing these days?
