I believe "Omagh" is Irish for Omar...looks fairly small and irrelevant.

Thought this thread might be a clever take on Trey Parker and Matt Stone's musical, "Cannibal!"

True funny story; I was walking down Sepulveda Blvd here, and as I crossed the street I looked up and saw the guy who played the Irishman in Braveheart. This was right after the Departed came out and he had short lighter hair. As we passed he looked at me, smiled and nodded, saying 'Hey" as a grunted friendly greeting.

Not really a big deal except when I got home I realized I was wearing a jacket I'd bought years ago that said "IRELAND" across the front. lol. He thought I was one of his countrymen. Glad I didn't say anything back to him. He'd have figured out I was from Canada and my Dad is an Englishman. He may have killed me.

That would have been clever. If I were that clever I wouldn;t have done web comedy for free. I'd have been hired by a show... like South Park.

My heritage is Scotch-Irish. I'm known for wearing kilts to various events. Was on a cruise ship several years ago with my wife and wore one to the formal dinner on ship. A guy at a nearby table jumped up and started pointing to his family saying "Look, a guy in a kilt. He must be Scottish!!" Raised a big commotion and got his whole table's attention.

He stopped me at his table and asked where I was I from.

    "Mississippi", I replied.

His jaw damn near hit the floor, then he got red-faced and stuttered "But.. you're... you're in a kilt!"

"Yeah, how bout that?" I laughed at him, walked to my own table and left him trying to figure it out.

    The reactions are always priceless.

Everyone has heard, read, or watched movies about Achilles. Who has ever heard of the Irish hero, Cuchulainn?

A much more fascinating character IMO... (as you can tell from my account name)

Nah. Funnily enough I don;t own a single bit of hockey swag, nor anything with a Maple Leaf. Closest I came was a t-shirt that said "Canada Kicks ***" because we are usually too meek to say things like that, and I liked the bravado of it.

The Ireland jacket was something I saw on ale, and it fit me well, and I was born on St. Patrick's Day so I love Irish stuff.

I remember him listed in one of my advanced D&D manuals that listed heroes. My favorites were Gilgamesh and the Grey Mouser though.

Coocoochuchu was an ugly looking drawing that looked like a man crossed with a chinese bearded dragon so I didn't like him.

Holy ****, that reminds me of another true story. It was a typical Tuesday Toronto night, meaning the bars were dead, but my buddy and I decided to go out regardless for some beers at a place a bit out of the way from the main club area. About ten minutes after we get to this empty bar, about thirty hot women in tight dresses walk in with oone guy. Turns out it was the entire female Riverdance troupe (and one dude, not Flatley) who were done their performances in Toronto and wanted to blow off steam on their last night. I zeroed in on a sexy twenty year old blonde with a great dancer's body and beautiful face, but got blocked by a late-twenties short-haired brunette who was an 8/10 but with a LOT of confidence.. clearly she was the female pack leader and she decided she liked me, so the other girl backed off. lol. We flirted and drank a bit then we all (me and the troupe) walked back to the hotel they were staying in. Everyone went upstairs while her and I made out outside, against the wall. She was so damned aggressive though, raking her nails down my stomach leaving red marks and pulling my belt off (she wanted to have sex there, beside the hotel against the wall) that I literally started to get scared of how worked up she was getting. lol. We played who's on top for awhile. Normally I win that game... not that night.
