I give Triple H a lot of credit for bringing new guys in that can actual wrestle and not just look good in a gym lifting. He's done a very good job with his new back stage role. With that being said, I just wish he stayed in the back and stopped putting himself over talent when he was appear on screen.

And yes GWF was freaking great, I used to always watch it as a kid. I will have to check that out, thanks for the heads up!

Darren Young did an interview where he revealed that he is gay. So there is that.

(Vince is as we speak, trying to create an uncomfortable storyline)

Yeah. I mean good for him for coming out but I just hope it doesn't lead to some stupid storyline with him. Although I'm sure as we speak Vince is planning on the Bella Twins making a bet between them to see which one can get him to switch teams.

I'm sure Goldust, Rico and Orlando Jordan are sitting by their phone waiting for it to ring.

I guess it's news that Darren Young came out. I mean...Kanyon came out prior (not while employed by WWE) and Orlando Jordan was known to be bi-sexual while in the WWE, so it really is genuine to call Darren the first, openly outed WWE Superstar.

I do question the timing and how it came about though. It reeks of a planted reporter giving him the set up question and platform to come out. If not, and it was a legit guy asking a random question of a low level superstar...then kudos to Darren in how he handled it.

As it is, I would actually be mildly surprised if this becomes a storyline on the air, as the WWE has actually had a pretty visible anti-bullying campaign and Young, I am sure, probably does not wish to be defined by this (unless, of course, my theory above is correct).

In other news, The Shield will be on the main show for Summerslam it seems. Rumor is they will run an angle on the pre-show to get to a match on the show. Yay.

I do think it's a bit obvious that it was a set by the WWE and TMZ, which they have a good relationship with. Just some extra buzz for Summer Slam. The difference between Young and Kanyon is that Young came out officially while he was still employed by the WWE. Kanyon was out of wrestling and Jordan, if I remember correctly, never came out officially it was just used in storylines.

I do worry that the WWE is going to use this news, which has been covered very positive by the media, and turn this either into a storyline and give Young a push. I wouldn't be shocked if Young is involved in Summer Slam somehow. I hope I'm wrong but this is the WWE we're talking about.

Rumors going around that The Shield is in the doghouse now between them injuring The Undertaker and having a back stage confrontation with Randy Orton and they're going to be depushed, at least Rollins and Reigns, in favor of the Wyatts. Winning those titles has really been the worst thing for them. They just have zero direction right now.

Yeah I'm usually one to crap on whenever Triple H gets involved too much making things about him but last night's angle was pretty good and the right choice with Orton cashing in and winning.

Also people who complain the WWE is too predictable and thus the matches are ruined by it, the Cena/Bryan match with Orton cashing in at the end was completely predictable, hell even the WWE was foreshadowing it on RAW all month, but it was still pretty cool to see.

Hey remember when the WWE kept telling everyone how serious they were pushing Curtis Axel and he was going to be the next big star? That was fun right?

Not that I'm complaining because they seem to be serious about pushing Bryan, The Shield and the Wyatts still. Just think it's interesting, almost like Vince woke up and said to himself "I like Axel, let's push him" and two weeks later said to himself "Why the hell are we doing that?".

Me too, just as long as it doesn't lead to Bryan jobbing to Triple H at an upcoming PPV. But that would be incredibly dumb thing to do. You don't job the hottest wrestler in the promotion to a part time former main eventer who doesn't need the win except to stroke his own ego (remembers CM Punk back in Sept of 2011 and Brock at WM this year). But that won't happen to Bryan, Bryan is different!

(God I hope that doesn't happen to Bryan). Seriously, I like the angle but I do worry about Triple H wanted to be too involved.

Maybe this is where the Shield turns, Over Time they get tired of doing hhh dirty work and Finally except that Bryan has had an injustice done to Him and help him beat Orton for the Title. Just throwing it out there. They also need to just let hhh do it and let vince and steph go back in the background again. Doubt if it will happen.

Bryan will no doubt end up as WWE champion when this whole storyline is over. Its the big payoff and big finish. WM will end with Bryan as WWE Champion imo.

Maybe this is a semi-return of "evolution"..or maybe a New "evolution" that will set the table for a Stone Cold Steve Austin return for Wrestlemania.

Just read that Interview and I was intriqued by what he had to say about developmental and starting a network and how hard the behind the curtain stuff is.

Yeah it was a good interview. We really have no clue how hard or how much really goes into the production and decision making. It would be pretty amazing to be a fly on the wall in some of those writer rooms.

Ted DiBiase Jr has walked away from the WWE, he decided not to have his contract renewed. Not like he was doing much of anything for like 3 years it seems. I really think the WWE blew a shot not turning him face by turning on Orton back before a WM 4 or 5 years ago. Not saying he would have been a star but he was getting pretty big crowd reactions they just kept stalling and by the time they decided to break the stable up no one cared about him anymore.

I will admit it, I laughed at Michael Coles "YEScalade" comment. Funny that HHH just bought him the car today and it an Arizona license plate. Orton lives in Missouri so looks like he is going to have to re-register it

Yeah? Do you listen to the Stone Cold Steve Austin podcast? Austin had Flair on as a guest and Flair said the WWE was mad at him (Flair) because he didn't promote the video game enough. And Austin, who was also on the panel, said Flair and JR were fantastic and everyone loved the panel because all Flair did was tell old wrestling war stories. Flair also said before he got up there for the panel he was told to "be Ric Flair" so he was.

Anyway I HIGHLY recommend giving the podcast a listen to. It's great. Austin has had HBK, Bret Hart, Scott Hall, Kevin Nash, Lance Storm, Trish Stratus, Jerry Lawler, Jim Ross, Hurricane Helms and of course Flair as guests already on the show. Serious give it a listen, the stories the guys tell are just great.

Whether he was forced to retire or not, it's clear the WWE is changing and giving more and more power to Triple H and Stephanie and their trusted advisors and slowly phasing out Vince's team. Which might not really be a bad thing as the talent Triple H has brought in has been really good. The writing and direction just needs more work.

Yeah seriously do it, you'll love it. Especially guys like Hall and Nash, they gave tons of inside stuff about the Kliq and the nWo and why they decided to go to WCW over the WWF. Just really interesting stuff. And because Austin is a wrestler too they seem really comfortable opening up.

Surprised Bryan walked out with the title last night, but I'm thinking it will lead to Orton being handed the belt back tonight on RAW due to the "fast count" by the ref. And I wouldn't be surprised if the ref gets fired and thus bringing Road Dogg out to try and get his brother's job back ala Cody Rhodes/Goldust thing.

Either way I think we're getting a rematch between Bryan and Orton at HiTC and then Bryan vs. Big Show at Survivor Series.

CM Punk feud just got a whole lot of boring thrown into it with Ryback thrown in there. I like Punk but I can't invest into this.
