Excution is on the coaches. That's why every documentary on every great coach ever always says they were good at getting their players to execute. That's why certain coaches consistently get good execution from players. It ain't all on the players. Coach has to teach them, motivate them, bench them, cut them, whatever it takes to get what he needs from them. Coach's name is on that team when it takes the field.
