I think its just a matter of seeing what he can offer. We've seen Gray and Gillislee in the first few games already.
Ya... It was a clean hit tho... According to dip **** calling the game. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
Not my intent Mr. Clean. Can't make light of what happened to Keller. More about taking it out on Swearinger, but not really do it. I am not really blaming him until I watch the play.
Not according to a couple of posters recently. Moore is fun to root for because he has a nice longball, but he makes a ton of mistakes
So...DT played pretty well tonight. Are we off the whole "he should be cut" nonsense yet? ...and Miller, aside from the sheer quickness he brings, has shown me nothing so far. Theres some potential in him for sure but we've seen nothing.
Blame it on the NFL more than the player - as this is what DBs are going to do since they can't do it higher.
Downside of being a young team....our backups are really inexperienced. Better hope this team stays healthy.
I'll be interested to see Philbin in the post game to see him handle the inevitable stupid questions about him leaving his starters out there exposing them to injury in a preseason game.
Again why is Kevin coyle a great coordinator? I know preseason but dam we look like a bunch of *******
They say don't go for the head... That doesn't imply go straight for a knee.... Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
Our backups are really young and fairly crap. Especially the LB's. That Kovacs guy was especially bad.
The ones were pretty evenly matched and we forced a pick... Why? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk 4
I don't really think they are stupid questions... I think its fair. I dont believe they should have been out there at that point in time, the offense had shown enough already at this point.
The offense is young and inexperienced... I didn't want them out there because of how the refs were calling the game... not because of risk of injury. The offense needed reps. Bottom line really.
Moore has always sucked in preseason. Doesn't change that he's one of the better backup QB's in the league. In my mind, anyway.
I know he's ancient... but that's something I'd explore if he's healthy and ready to play. He could show Simms and Egnew alot too I'd imagine.
I hadn't seen that... not before the game.. One of the guys covering the team said they'd be out there first quarter only.
I suppose that's true... I just hate that we took that risk, given its the preseason still. It is what it is though...
If Devlin stayed healthy....I think easily he would have had the #2 job. Hopefully Moore picks it up though....be nice to get a pick for him in the offseason.
