Blood sweat and tears coming from Tampa Bay as Miami is beating them so bad there is a lot of flooding on the field from the crying the Bucs are doing.

I'm looking forward to seeing if the lighting in the stadium, thought to be substandard enough that an upgrade was part of the proposed stadium renovation, winds up making the aqua uniforms look more greenish or some other interesting shade of aqua, and if that, in turn, causes a severe disconnect between the light reflection off the fabric and the reflection off the stripe in the helmet. :shifty:

Are you more excited or less excited for this week's game than last week's?

I am MORE excited because our 1st string will get a lot of playing time.

And we have our starting RG back!

I'm psyched man...I totally expect an *** whoopin' to be put on the Bucs. Did you see those hits that LB from Carolina put on the Ravens (one of which caused a fumble/TD)? MAN I need to see our guys do some of that s***. Fancy that...a dude wreckin' *** and NOT hitting knees...I guess it IS possible.

    Anyway...FINS UP!

    RUTGERS fan here.

At of all the places Shiano could have gone, all I wanted was for him not go to the Jets or the Bucs. He chose the Bucs.
Belechick is buddies with Shiano, which was fine with me until he became the coach of the Bucs.
I live near the Tampa area and although they haven't done well in a decade, I can't stand their fans.(This is bandwagon territory)
Will not root for Shiano to do well with that team nor do I care how well Rutgers Alum play for them.
Especially when it comes to tomorrow nights game. Yes, I'm excited and hope we beat the **** out of them.

Wanna know how I'm going to feel when we play them Nov. 11th?

Well, I hope you get your wish.

And I'd forgotten we play them in NOv. Makes this even more interesting.

Wonder if the coaches hold some opponent-specific stuff back or if they let it all hang out?

Philbin already stated that they're game planning for this one. I'm sure they will with some plays because we play them later in the season.
Now with the Saints game next week, they won't be showing anything. It's just a last impression game for the bubble players and we got the Saints in week 4.

No forfeits !! We have preseason tailgating work to get in. Get all the kinks out for the regular season.

I'm breaking out my new Air Brushed Dolphins logo on the van and my new Lamar Miller jersey.

The battle for Florida baby.... We own the Bucs.

The offensive line to get in a groove and block well for the running game weather it's Daniel Thomas or Miller and give Tannehill time to throw downfield.

I'd like to see Lamar Miller take a screen pass the distance.

I'd like to see everyone get healthy and stay that way and Jamar Taylor solid play with the 1's.

    EMPTY SEATS!!!!! WOOT!!! WOOT!!!

Just kidding. We need to get off to a fast start. I want us to win the flip, take the ball, and score in less than 7 plays. I'd like to see Lamar get a little more time in the backfield. Martin to continue to improve.

AND FOR CHRIST SAKES.......NOBODY GET HURT!!!!

While I think the secondary remains a problem because I feel the only two quality players in that unit at this time are Jones and Grimes, I'm not as concerned with the defense nearly as much as I am with the offense.

Tannehill needs to make quicker decisions in the pocket. I am also interested to see if he has improved on his deep throws. It doesn't matter how fast Wallace can run if Tannehill is not able to make the deep throws when Wallace gets open.

The offensive line remains the #1 area of concern for me. They have had problems protecting the QB and RG continues to be a major problem. I wasn't high on Martin at LT going into the preseason, but his play seems to have improved so far. Hopefully this will continue into the regular season. Right now the OL is very average and it will have to improve, especially the RG play, before this team can expect to have a winning record this season.

The fact Thomas is being viewed as a possible starter on this team is disturbing to me. I think he is a very mediocre RB who is obviously injury prone. If Miller can't show that he can become the main RB for this team, I think the RB position is going to be an issue throughout the entire season.

TE is now a major question mark because of the injury to Keller. Perhaps Clay, Sims, and Egnew can help fill the void, but I don't see any of them having near the impact a healthy Keller would have had for this team.

So I will be watching the offense tonight to see if any of the problem areas are improving. Because when this team plays the Browns in two weeks, the offense they have shown in the previous three weeks will not be enough to pull out a win in Cleveland.

I'm not sure why you think anyone should have been fined for the hit on Keller last week. As the rules presently stand, the hit Keller took was perfectly legal. I agree that the league should implement a rule against this type of tackle, but right now there is no rule with prohibit this type of hit. So I see no reason that there should have been fine imposed on the player making this legal tackle.

Obviously the NFL also saw nothing wrong with the tackle, because there was no flag on the play and no fine from the league office.
