Stephen Ross told us the stadium is great. You can get WIFI and put up pictures. Crazy

Miller ran well, no one else could do a darned thing running the ball.

That's really great news. The stats are exactly what you'd hope for from the two most important skill players in this offense, with Wallace being the third and Martin being the fourth. Wallace na dMartin have also looked fine.

Offense is in good shape. And I expect the Oline to improve as Jerry plays into shape and the 5 develop chemsitry.

(playoffs?)

Agree.

And if we go 7-9 this year against a much tougher schedule it wouldn't be the end of the world, so long as Tannehill posts at least slightly better numbers along the way.

2014 is shaping up to be the year we bring in the crops.

Oline will gel.
A VERY young team will have most of their learning curve out of the way.

Look out.

Some one needs to teach Clay how to run a crisp route. Gibson understands the slot.

With his ineptness being in charge of the Bucs STs I wonder what the over/under will be on how many games his units cost the Bucs this season? Schiano will regret hiring this retread reject lousy excuse for an NFL coach. That is for sure. So much for nepotism and sticking with part of the good old boys network of recycled asst coaches.

I thought the one where he pulled up lame, if he hadn't, he'd have been in place to make the play. The other one you refer to, it seemed to me like he was just being overly cautious about getting beat deep.

To me, he is giving up too much cushion on those sets, or not closing the right time, and I can't watch that.

Millers going to be a really frustrating back. So far he either gets 15-20 yds, or >2. He's Reggie bush 2.0

Not a bad thing but I really need to see more

You mean Miller is the same back without that veteran leadership. I get it.

The entire running back group is wildly inconsistent. Poor run blocking doesn't help. Gotta get that cleaned up before Cleveland.

Likely because of getting beat deep for that TD last week. Now he is erring too much on the side of caution. Everything will balance out eventually and he'll be fine.

If I learned one thing from tonight's game it's STCauliflower is a total troll..... and for clarification, trolls don't have to be from other teams. If anything it's even worse when they're from within.

Besides that I'm lovin' our 1st string D and the fact our 2nd stringers took it up a notch and stuck their foot in Freeman's ***.

Tannehill went ham tonight. I saw him trying to hype up the team after mistakes which is huge imo. He wasn't yelling at guys which I would love to see. He was more into positive reinforcement. But I would have loved to see him get at gibson after he dropped that amazing pass into double coverage. But, gibson was obviously very upset, which I appreciated, and redeemed himself.

Overall, tannehill produced a solid stat line which could have even been better if it wasn't for drops. This guy is getting better.

Its not negativity...its reality. If you find the reality negative, that's perfectly within your rights. Let me help you understand this... Its not negative that JAX won two games last year...its a fact. I hope that helps and I hope I've clarified that for you. Flying to San Fran so I won't be able to communicate with you once I take off, but have a great day.

Devlin is probably not the future of the franchise. Still has a great job as a 3rd string qb in the NFL

Watching the game this morning, Miami appears to be begging the NFL to move them. That is terrible attendance for the opening game in Miami of any kind this season. Just pitiful. I am sure the same general reasons will be given. Don't like Ross or Ireland, don't like direction of team, got too much to do in South Beach, cost too much.

Devlin did not suck with the 2nd stringers last night. He moved the ball down the field on a scoring drive.

He looked bad once he was behind the 3rd string oline and he couldn't do anything when a wave of humanity was crashing on him.

I seriously don't get the Devlin criticisms. He's been better than Moore.

Devlin:

1
1
74.00
Moore:

Comp
Att
%
Yrds

Seriously, at this point, Devlin should be #2.

I find it incredibly ironic that someone can watch one team out-gain another by almost a 3 to 1 margin and come away thinking that the team that's tripling the other's out put is destined for a 4 or 5 win season and then claim that everybody else is divorced from reality. The only reason the game was even as close as it was was due to a couple of fluke STs plays. That they were fluke TOs should be obvious to anybody who claims to watch football regularly. Every board has it's share of negative posters, the kind who see the glass half-full (slightly off-topic, but studies have shown that pessimists tend to be less realistic than optimists), but only a few reach that level where most every other poster starts to assume they're brain-dead or just trolls.

I didn't realize Wanny was the new Special Teams coach at Tampa until I read the game recap from last night on ESPN.com. I'd completely forgotten about him. I hope they suck all year.

1 TD in 5 possessions, from a short field, is not "moving at will". The way the defense dominated the first half, with better offensive play, the game is not in position for the STs and backups to give it away.

Sure it is. There's scoring at will and moving the ball at will. They are two different things. We didn't score at will, because things stalled at times. But we were moving the chains at will.

fair point, but you didn't mention them. Lol

edit: oakland and cleveland are both pretty known for having dedicated fans/fanbases irregardless of how awful they do

which i guess supports your point.

Shirley, you can't be serious??

What good does your definition of "moving at will" do without scoring? Have they started to give 6 points for getting to the 15?

If we haven't learned the past few years that field goals do not win in this league anymore, if they ever did, I don't know what to tell you....
