2 QB: Ryan Tannehill, Matt Moore 4 RB: Lamar Miller, Daniel Thomas, Mike Gillislee, Jonas Gray 1 FB: Evan Rodriguez 3 TE: Charles Clay, Michael Egnew, Dion Sims 5 WR: Mike Wallace, Brian Hartline, Brandon Gibson, Rishard Matthews, Chad Bumphis 4 OT: Tyson Clabo, Jonathan Martin, Dallas Thomas, Will Yeatman 4 OG: Richie Incognito, John Jerry, Nate Garner, Josh Samuda, Barker 2 OC: Mike Pouncey, Sam Brenner 5 DT: Paul Soliai, Jared Odrick, Randy Starks, Kheeston Randall, A.J. Francis 4 DE: Cameron Wake, Olivier Vernon, Dion Jordan, Derrick Shelby, Onyenekwu 6 LB: Dannell Ellerbe, Phil Wheeler, Koa Misi, Jason Trusnik, Jelani Jenkins, Austin Spitler 5 CB: Brent Grimes, Dimitri Patterson, Nolan Carroll, Will Davis, Jamar Taylor 4 DS: Reshad Jones, Chris Clemons, Jimmy Wilson, Kelcie McCray 4 ST: Brandon Fields, John Denney, Caleb Sturgis, Marcus Thigpen CK, not much different from yours ... but believe there is 'some' potential that Moore and\or Starks get traded, even though keeping them without question give us very depth at QB + DL. If Taylor had been able to practice from the beginning of camp, believe that Carroll would be gone ... thought he'd finally develop, but hasn't and reminds me of Jason Allen. Still like Gray and honestly would keep him over Gillislee -- and prefer both to DT ... but the FO sees something that not many of us see. Take your pick between Barker and Brenner ... and i believe they wanted someone else to supplant Thigpen, but haven't seen anyone step up .....
I think it telling that a number of the most recent lists, yours CK and yours PhinA among them, do not list Vaughn Martin. It seems he goes the way of Lance Louis. That is to say, we do not want to guarantee his contract but he might be available for pick up after the first week if an emergency arises. I am thinking that playing time on Thursday night might NOT be an indicator of staying or getting cut. For some it will be a final try but for others it will simply be getting an audition tape ready for the next team to sign them.
They initially raved about Vaughn Martin in training camp, and the way they initially used him in preseason seemed like they thought of him as the natural successor to Jared Odrick as an oversized defensive end on run downs. Therefore, I thought him a lock for the team. But the guy has just played so poorly this preseason and cutting him would save something like $3.7 million in salaries over 2013-2014. I've been pretty plain that I would cut him but that I don't think the Dolphins will. Now I'm thinking, maybe they will after all. When they initially signed him I looked at his Chargers tape...and just did not like him. Not impressive at all. The defensive line version of Legedu Naanee.
Didnt get that one, he looked like a stiff in the scrimmage as well. This AJ Francis kid has got to make the team..
its like 24 hours after cut day, waiver claims should be announced soon, if we made any, probably on the 2nd wave
Well he just tweeted a minute ago so it was a short retirement, lol. Although the tweet he sent out a minute ago was just a link for another video segment.
The second one was also a link to a Sun Sentinel story. So...could be he still plans on using Twitter professionally but not as a means to talk to fans anymore.
The guy is in a frenzy, has posted two more links. He never posted this many links to stories even when he was "unretired". He can't resist. He'll run out of links. I bet this doesn't even last the whole day.
About 4 hours. That's how long it took before he started tweeting non-Sentinel tweets. His "retirement" is eroding away bit by bit. First he wasn't tweeting at all. Then he was just tweeting links to Sun Sentinel articles. Then he tweeted his reaction to a Sun Sentinel article. Then, he cryptically tweets about a "part" of twitter that he is retiring from, clearly insinuating that he's retiring from reading tweets that others tweet at him and responding to them...and quite ironically, he does that in direct response to questions from his twitter followers. I give it about one more hour before you start seeing stuff like this... @OmarKelly "But seriously. Now I'm done answering your questions." @OmarKelly "RT @somebody Why u retiring, O? >> I'm not retiring totally, just not answering your guys' questions anymore." @OmarKelly "RT @someoneelse Dint u just answer that dude's question tho? >> That doesn't count. BLANK STARE."
OmarK is just a hot mess, almost wonder if he has mental issues as that is a whole lot of passive aggression in one small man.
RJ Sanford? Is he Fred J Sanford's grandkid? Maybe Lamont is his daddy. He came a long ways from working in a salvage yard.
