Eagles release OLs Danny Watkins and Michael Bamiro. Not sure what happened with Watkins, maybe that chronic ankle injury. Apparently the Dolphins were interested in Bamiro earlier: 7/16/13 "The Eagles have announced that the team has signed the Stony Brook tackle, who through a complicated set of circumstances, never had to go through the regular or supplemental draft. The Dolphins apparently made a run at him as well, but the Eagles were able to convince him by guaranteeing a portion of his base salaries his first two seasons." http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/07/16/michael-bamiro-set-to-sign-with-eagles/
If Belichick couldn't find a way to use Tebow on offense, I have to think Tebow's chance of making an NFL roster again is very slim. Tebow obviously isn't an NFL QB and he doesn't appear willing or talented enough to play any other position on offense. He has been someone the media has loved to talk about for the past several years, but I think he needs to accept the NFL isn't for him and he needs to get on with his life.
I had Vonte Davis in the back of my head when I suggested it could be Starks being moved, I really hope it don't happen though.
If the Packers are interested in giving up their first or second round selection for Starks, tell them to give Ireland a call. Anything less than a second round pick and I wouldn't even listen if I was Ireland. I just don't see the Dolphins wanting to trade Starks right now. He is still their best all around DT on their roster. I would rather see the Dolphins sign Starks to a long term deal and trade Odrick, if they want to trade one of their DT's. The Packers could probably get Odrick for a 5th or 6th round draft pick.
They might keep 6 CBs; he's the best special teamer of the CB group. IMO, he might hold more value on game day than Will Davis, at least until Davis improves his tackling.
Bumphis cut chad bumphis @ImSo_BalisMade13min Well It was a fun experience and I appreciate the opportunity. So much respect for the people in the dolphins organization. From everyone
Guess Bumphis fell out of favor with the coaching staff early on. He didn't play much the last two games. Or the goal was to "hide" him for the PS.
Obviously QB's are the key component to every offense. That said, I don't know if I'd classify GB's offensive talent as "average." Maybe their offensive line isn't very good, but Nelson, Cobb, Jones, Lacy, and Finley are far from average...
Bumphis very nice in his tweets about the Dolphins... might be a guy we bring back if he's not claimed.
well it would be a shocker if Davis makes it he got also no playing time in the end, just like bumphis
play counts for our wr's are pretty telling... Tyms 156 McNutt 137 next highest is Hartline at 89..Bumphis had 81 FWIW
I wouldn't be surprised one bit if that's what they are doing, but it could be Philbin preferring bigger receivers.

Andrew Abramson @AbramsonPBP 1m Per @gunnerhal looks like #Dolphins are releasing Tyms. Sounds like McNutt is the winner.
Hal Habib @gunnerhal16min Source confirms that feel-good story of WR Brian Tyms, who was briefly homeless, has hit a bump. Dolphins releasing him. Practice squad?
Guess it comes down to what have ya done lately? Had Dallas been the last game and NO been the first, we'd have kept Bumphis.
