No thank you. He has made it clear that he only wants to play QB in the NFL and he doesn't have the required skills to be a productive QB at the NFL level. I would think that if he wanted to play TE and he would effective at the TE position, Belichick would have tried him at the position while he was with the Patriots. The reality is that Tebow was a great college QB, but he is not good enough to be an NFL player. He seems like a good guy and I hope he has a wonderful life after football. I just don't want to see him in a Dolphin uniform, ever.

There really wasn't much competition for Thigpen's position. I think the coaching staff tried other players in the punting and kickoff return game to see who they use to back up Thigpen during the regular season. I don't ever think he was in any danger of being cut from the roster. Like it or not, he is the best return man on the roster.
Be patient, it isn't as if the bottom tier players on the roster are going to have a big impact on the Dolphins this year. In fact it wouldn't surprise me if 4 or 5 of the players on the final 53 man roster today don't end up being replaced by players who were cut by other teams today. We probably won't know the actual final 53 players until the end of next week.

It could mean either cut or not. It does seem more like it is about being cut and the "grind" of trying to make it with a team. If its about the grind of being with the team, then it would imply he's not enjoying his time here....which is certainly possible. I don't really refer to things I enjoy doing as the grind.....except Sick's mom, whom I call "The Grind". That's because "The Grind" is tattooed on her ***. Truth be told, I don't know if she got it done because she lost a bet or its a badge of honor.

Because its just dumb secrecy for no reason. The other teams know who was cut. There is literally nothing to be gained by waiting
