Truth be told AJ Francis did have a less than stellar game last week. And they put Randall back in at the end of game. Maybe he didnt like that.
some guys from the secondary should feel really uncomfortable this night, Don Jones, RJ Stanford, heck i wouldn't call Devlin safe yet, can someone provide a list of the final 53 ?
I cant remember being this upset about 53 cuts. Maybe its a sign that our first string guys are improving. And we are more focused on these second string guys. But damn.
You said "I could care less" what you meant to say was, "I couldn't care less" mroz meet Pete, Pete meet mroz.....
Well if you could care less, that means you do indeed care some, which means you probably think they are (or could be) good. If you couldn't care less, then you don't care at all in any capacity, and would likely think they suck and will always suck.
so i think we can cut another 3 guys "easy" for pickups, maybe even 4 if you go with just 2 QB's - Vaughn Martin - Don Jones - RJ Stanford - Pat Devlin
With 4 WRs it would make more sense to keep 4 TEs rather than 3, so again, no reason to be complaining about Egnew being on the team.
Lol I agree with all of them except Francis and bumphis Mcnutt got cut...never question your instinct.
Mrs Vega (that was my 3rd grade teacher) is that you? lol no.. really guys… I could care less (which means I could care less about them but I dont) about either of them. IF it will make you guys feel better… I COULDN'T care less about either of them… lol
Actually, I could care less. I do not lament either of them being cut, but it's not like I want to see them wandering out in front of a bus, or slipping on a banana peel.
He's just to stiff for my blood..I thought AJ would replace him but apparently it was the vet Martin, whom I didnt like this preseason.lol..he did for some reason play well against the scrubs the other nite.
thats fine, whatever The freestyler wants.. Side note, why are folks shocked over Mcnutt...as stated earlier this preseason, " I'm running out of fingers as to how many times that guy has lost control of the football." That's a factual statement..lol
Glad to see Kaddu and Stanford made it. The only one that really confuses me is Kheeston Randall. I suppose you can say that Vaughn Martin is the more versatile player, and he is. But, he's also more expensive and Randall played pretty well. I thought Randall would be a developmental guy who can play the 1 Technique in certain spots and be a solid run stuffer. Vaughn Martin is just a guy IMO. I'm not surprised about A.J. Francis, though many on here seem disappointed. He was dominant among the 3rd and 4th teamers, but hes got some work to do. If I had to pick a "Last 5 In", borrowing from the NCAA BBall Tourney, they'd be: Don Jones, Josh Kaddu, Evan Rodriguez, Jonathan Freeny, and R.J. Stanford going from 1 to 5. I still think WR, TE, LB, and S could all be positions to be addressed. RB and OL would be my two darkhorse candidates.
Trusnik (no C Clean) has photos of Ireland doing something naughty (probably drafting talent rofl). Relax. Its a good joke. Jordan needs to be huge. 3 dbs drafted and we're keeping 11? 4 rbs is crazy. Evan Rodriguez is a morning holy $hit theres a girl in my bed ull cover whilst praying for doable: Waiver wire wide receivers- alliteration's free. Baby Jesus please let Devlin have trade value with a starting WR price tag. Dline is sexy.
Lets not forget, it's only 53 guys.. I suppose some can make a case for Randall, (not a fan of)he was active early in the preseason, but I guess they thought the 27 year old Martin has a bit more versatility..
I expect to see Francis in the PS, Randall has topped out as to what he can do movement wise, and it still falls into backup mode..
That's got to be it, because Martin didn't really show a lot either until the New Orleans game. Should be interesting to see who they add tomorrow. My wish list right now would consist of: Bernard Scott - RB (Depending on his injury.) Michael Robinson - FB John Conner - FB Da'Rick Rogers - WR Cobi Hamilton - WR (Thanks Stitches.) D.J. Williams - TE Jake Stoneburner - TE Michael Bamiro - T Ray Feinga - T (I mean, really, why not?) J/K Danny Watkins - G Kenny Phillips - S Give me two of those guys (just 1 FB, please) and I'd be pretty happy with what the 53 would look like.
WR - need depth and they are working out players. TE - need a starter, probably won't find anyone. Shiancoe, Boss, Harbor come to mind. LB - There are some good ones that should replace jenkins immediately, Aaron Curry, Jama Chaney for example. S - I don't see a player out there who would be upgrade over starters or depth. RB for sure, Gillislee is expandable. OL - There should be an upgrade over Dallas Thomas for sure, Ramon Harewood or such.
To counter, I'd argue Randall is also cheaper than Martin and more developed than Francis. After Paul Soliai, there's really not a guy that's a true 1 Technique DT. Starks and Martin can do it, but I think they're better at other spots. It is what it is though. I'm not worried about the D-line. That's been a staple of the Dolphins since the Nick Saban days, regardless of who has been shuffled in and out of Miami. Okay, maybe not 2007, but every other year, that's been the strength of the team IMO.
What is Connors weakness Ro, all we hear is folks gushing, some jarring blocks, then he on the chopping block, does he have brick hands?
Disagree about Shiancoe; he's finished. Aaron Curry just retired. Dallas Thomas is most likely the future LG and this will be a "redshirt" year for him. He's miscast as a T, but I think he was only playing there because of injuries to Garner and Yeatman in the preseason. What has Jamar Chaney ever done? Kenny Phillips has had a better career and has more experience than Jimmy Wilson, Kelcie McCray, and Don Jones combined. Agree about RB depth and WR depth. I think the TE that's brought in, if one is, is more of a guy who is competing for snaps with Michael Egnew and not Charles Clay and Dion Sims.
If your gonna go with cheaper, better has to go with it..more developed than Francis, hmmm maybe, better, well, if Francis makes the practice squad then no, they see Francis with more upside..which I would agree with.
