Let's see what the offense does on opening weekend. Chances are anyone called a receiver in Miami including Thigpen will be active on game day. I not sure about the talent released yesterday. I think what talent was worth looking at got gobbled up by the top 10 teams in order.

You cannot handle the 1, 2 punch of Clutts and McNutt.

We were supposed to have a CFL USA Team down in Miami, called the Manatees.

He's a Dolphin now. You know what that means around here? He's a sure fire HOFer.

A blocker...and we need blockers. He's gonna be our 6th man on the line but in the backfield. A Miller truck for our Miller man.

    Check ! Approve.

Can handle a "Klutts" cannot handle "Missed Game Winning Field Goal"..that would just be a bad football name.

    lmao

gets rid of Jorvorskie cause Rodrguez beat him out, then gets rid of Rodriguez for Clutz. typical :-) churning the roster looking for acorns.

I did know that and of course I know who Scott is, and his background. I did not make the connection of what d22 was referring to. He did not reply to any other post. He just said Jake Scott #13. If we are talking about the best CFL players, like top 2 or 3, to come down from Canada to the NFL, sorry but Jake would not be one of them.

Clutts was a state champion wrestler in Clovis, California. Tough guy.

Whatever you believe it is or ain't gonna be, Rodriguez had to go. Dunno why thats not evident to some. I haven't the slightest idea of what Clutts brings to the table. I've only seen him once.

I tell you this, if trends such as the recent ones continue, we would've aleady had a Clutts on this team and he doesn't wear pads.

Not sure of the timing but wasn't Clutts let go from Chicago because of Rodriguez? And now he beats him out to come to Miami? Curious???

He also served as a backup long-snapper for the Bears:

    But, then, there's this:

Appears to be a better option at FB than anyone we've had - true blocker (though I still think signing Vonta Leach - especially after the Richard Marshall cut - would have been a better option).

But, the better blocking we can get for Lamar Miller and for RT on passing downs, the better the offense. This is an upgrade. Hopefully he'll be able to pick up the schemes and plays quickly. Getting a starting FB this late in the game (even with limited action) is a risk for early in the season. Still, a necessary move. We need blockers.

We haven't had a half way decent blocking fullback since Roosevelt Potts imo.

Clutts is a blocker and a damn good one at that. I'd rather have him over Lane or Rodriguez. He's not going to carry the ball one time I don't think but he can catch it out of the backfield if we absolutely needed him to. From what I have seen we are going to be a vertical team anyway so Clutts will basically be an extra O-lineman in there to protect Tannehill. Not a bad pickup at all if you ask me.

What the play and decide for yourself. I've seen guys block similarly many times and not called. His hands were inside, not hooking him, and he was still driving his man backwards as the runner passed them.

Methinks perhaps his hyperbole giveth to him a bone.
