that is what i beleive the tuna will go after in the draft.

    laurinitis or gholston
    vince hall
    xavier adibi
    ezra butler
    ali highsmith

    RT probably gonna happen
    TE id expect it.

but i think we will see at least 2 or 3 linebackers.

This isnt the year to draft linebackers. Weak class. Defensive line and offensive line are pretty deep though and cornerbacks arent as spectacular at the top but pretty deep and you could get some good ones in the 3rd or 4th

i wouldnt call Laurinitis or Connor "weak".

if somehow we could get an extra 1st round pick, and Connor would be available when we pick, he'd be a lock at our pick. but i still wouldnt rule out Leman later on too.

1st rounders both. I meant if you're going to load up on a position you're going to have to draft people after the 1st round. Linebackers and safeties are pretty weak this year in terms of depth, especially 3-4 linebackers

defensive line isn't particularly deep and alot of the LBs you listed don't fit the "big" parcells linebacker mold. heres how i see it
    Cliff Avril (OLB)
    Ezra Butler (OLB)
    Rey Maualuga (perfect fit)
    Beau Bell
    Spencer Larson
    Brandon Miller
    Mike Klinkenborg
    to name a few

I love Beua Bell but more as a 4-3 LB. Is Maualaga coming out? I like him and his teammte Brian Cushing. I think there are at least 20 solid prospects coming out at DL but if you are looking for 3-4 DL then the class obviously drops

linebackers not deep ? I dunno...

mauluga, connor, rivers, laurinaitis, dunbar, wheeler, highsmith at OLB...

at MLB i'll agree though.. pretty weak: goff leman hall... but IMO Moffitt is going to be drafted late and be a heck of a steal...

but for OLB I believe it's a good year and we need to at least snag one of the afored mentionned in the first 3 rounds... or draft a DE and convert him into a 3-4 OLB (gholston anyone? or jackson from usc ... i'm not so high on Q groves though...)

if we can get a hand on Zenon the CB from LSU or tony joiner the S from UF with our 4th, i'd also be very happy

ILB is weak i agree, pass rushing LB is fairly strong with alrite depth. maualuga will likely come out but cushing will stay. 3-4 Dlineman go like this:
    Glenn Dorsey
    Kentwan Balmer
    Dre Moore
    Frank Okam (NT)
    Red Bryant (NT)
    Trevor Laws
Really for parcells a DE is 280-300 based on past drafts
NT is suprisingly light based on his past around 6-2 310ish.
Pass rush OLB is about 250 and ILB are about the same in his defense.
not to mention the CB class is really deep and the S class is very weak so we could get a 4th round talent at corner in the 6th. im also a big lowery fan maybe with our 4th. not to mention S is probably something we should waste a pick on.

I think Gholston or Long are the favorites for a Parcells type pick with our first. I hold to the belief that Beck isnt a Parcells type of QB so I think QB will be on the radar. Whether that means Ryan or Flacco I'm not sure. Those are the only two I think Parcells would want and its impossible slotting a small school QB before the all star games and combines. Right now I think we may draft Flacco with our 2nd 2nd rounder but Flacco could be a 4th or 1st round draft choice depending on how he does. I can definitely see us drafting a OT this year to play opposite Carey. Jeff Otah or Sam Baker could be available in the 2nd if enough juniors come out. I love Jeremy Thompson from Wake Forest alot. I'm hoping he flies under the radar. Maybe we could get him with our 3rd. Beau Bell would be great. I also like Trae Williams at CB. Dont know where he slots but its got to be after the 2nd. Maybe 3rd

Guys, I don't think that the tuna is going to draft LB's just for the heck of it...he knows we need some talent and he's gonna draft the best players on the board....I'd think we'll draft a LB somewhere but I doubt he's gonna "load up" on LB's....I do see us taking Chris Long at 1 and a corner in the 2nd.

    Ozzy rules!!

Agreed. I think it's between Long and Gholston, then definitely a CB with the next pick.

I dont know if we can take a QB in the second .... AGAIN. Really, would the fans stand for that? CPep and Beck and then another in consecutive years? Its got to either be our first pick or a late rounder hoping to get a prospect to load up on. Parcells does have history along the lines, so I can see him focusing there. Dorsey or Ghoulston are early favorites at DE, after that we need LB/CB help as well badly.

your word doesn't really convince me without you backing it up with any facts. don't be surprised if rather then a CB we take Duke Robinson G from Oklahoma who may declare. parcells likes big linemen and he tips the scales at 355 pounds. also CB is so deep we can afford to wait till the 3rd round or 4th round and get a quality guy.

IMO,this is the weakest draft that i can remember, just our luck, here's to trading down and picking up an extra number one, somehow someway we must come out of this weak draft with two number ones., lauranitas and fred davis would be exciting
