I can't for the life of me figure out why Vaughn Martin was signed in the first place. He was bad in San Diego, why would he all of a sudden be worth millions????????????
They were looking for a security blanket in case Starks/Soliai went down. No one thought Odrick would be tearing it up all of a sudden.
They needed someone that could replace what Odrick did at DE last year. I think Vaughn provided the most flexibility in terms of playing the 5-technique. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk 4
Well Bill Belacheat seemed to find a way to poach this UDFA. Very good evaluation FinNasty. Irelands acorn plucked away. Last year the Jets grabbed two I believe.
It's possible that the Patriots could be trying to put him on their own practice squad. He'd be allowed to choose, of course.
That's why they claimed him. He was offered and turned them down. So hopefully Ireland's already been on the phone with him and he's on his way back.
if they have not brainwashed him completely and doesn´t get claimed by someone else this should be a no brainer
The Pats have released Francis. Will be interesting to see if we pick him back up. http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/Patriots-promote-Josh-Kline-cut-AJ-Francis.html
It's interesting... just looking at AJ's twitter feed, he hasn't mentioned anything about being released by the Pats. He could sign to their PS instead.
