Then you apparently dont understand the purpose of the #1 receiver. Not that'd I'd refer to any WR as that, but anyways... thats irrelevant. His job, is to create matchups, not only for him, but for the others on that team. That's his role as the "#1 WR". Sorry that you don't like it, but its like that on every roster. Just other "#1 WR's" are physically larger than Wallace, like... Calvin Johnson, so even when covered, or double covered, Johnson is still open, Wallace isnt, but someone else is because Wallace is doubled. It's pretty simple really, I'm sorry you don't get it, or aren't happy with the outcome. It's not excuses bro, its fact. Again, I'm sorry you aren't happy with it, but I guarantee you the coaching staff is thrilled with it right now.

By the way. 10 penalties for 77 yards. That's Raiders territory.

Luckily Cleveland had 9 for 57.

roughness penalty put them in field goal range with like 10 seconds left. Classic choke by the Bucs, the Jest played awful and somehow won....looks a lot like Sanchez's first two years...

That's the role of the "#1 WR" essentially. You dictate the matchups to the D.

Also notice how almost every time we saw Wallace, he was doubled. That leaves someone open.

Jake Long just got beat and got called for holding. Cancels out a 20 yard screen.

Browns should have had a lot more. Our guys were getting held quite a bit.

Phew...Glad we won. I don't know if Brown's DLine is that good or if our OLine is that bad. I know we are all Dolphin fan's but damn some of these guys are so negative. If I felt that bad watching the game I would find something else to do on Sunday's.

Still not buying it. I want Wallace to do well. No underneath routes. It was almost stereotyped with the way Wallace was used as an actual receiving threat. Coaching staff will want more from Wallace. I know that I do.

Yup but at the same time if they made Cleveland not hold.....our defense would have put Weeden in the hospital lol.

The character of this team, at least for the first 3-4 games will be the Defense...

Believe it or not, the Keller injury has impacted the Offense drastically, and it will take a lot for opposing Defenses to take 7-8 out of the box...

The Offense will have to win by passing before opponents take the 7-8 man out of the box...

Great win... Sherman turned to Thill and the passing game in the fourth to put the points... but this is the Defense's win...

Plenty to work on, but plenty of good. Special teams mostly solid. Turnovers - yeah! Solid D. Tanny more than solid. Sturgis strong. Jordan saw the field.

You're not, not buying it, you're just not getting it. He is doing well, for the team. Isn't that the point here?? To win games?

They wont want more from him, because they got everything from Hartline, and Gibson because of Wallace. If Wallace wasnt out there today, its just like having Hartline, and Bess only all over again... which equals no offense whatsoever.

I guarantee you, again. He did everything the coaching staff wanted from him today, because Gibson, and Hartline, and of course Tannehill don't have the days they do today, without wallace.

Why send Wallace underneath, when you can use Hartline and Gibson there, in open space... because its open space created by Wallace?

Lots of experts had Cleveland's D as very good and top 10 or 15 or so...and they were missing Mingo. They look pretty stout.

Our offensive line on that 78 yard drive was superb. Really dug deep and let Tanny drive down field. It was the first time all game CLE wasn't all over him and he made them pay. It was gorgeous.

And for all the crap Sherman takes. He finally did make that change and went to a lot of shorter/quicker throws. Even the middle of the field type throws were quick reads. That saved Tanny's *** from the ground a lot.

I sure hope so. Miami can't possible run any worse. We need to put the read option in just to spark the run game a little.

I think something we need to remember is that Vegas favored the Browns. The majority of "experts" picked the Browns to win. We still went in there and won by double digits.

And that's the rub. Many of us knew going in to the season that as the O line goes, so does Tanny. Limited playbook shows that much more when you can't run block and are spotty on pass pro.

They REALLY need to get the run blocking going...can't do another tenure for Tanny like Marino's...that would be fairly tragic.

Have to happy with a win, our running game is scary bad though....hope it was just the first week and we'll make some adjustments but I don't know its just doesn't look like we will be able to run with this line/Rb combination. Hope I'm wrong. Our D + a good, solid running game would be a serious playoff team.

FYI: Patterson had a groin injury.

Were getting short on CB's fast. What is with our luck the last 2 seasons with healthy CB's?
