    I'm in a PPR league

Have questions about whom to start at RB and WR. I must start two RB and two WR. Here are my choices:

    Jordy Nelson vs SF
    Miles Austin ve Giants
    Eric Decker vs Ravens

    Adrian Peterson vs Detroit (duh)
    Rashard Mendenhall vs Rams
    Ahmad Bradshaw vs Oakland

    Thanks.

Nelson, Decker and Bradshaw would be my picks.

I'd go with Miles Austin and then flip a coin between the 2 Nelsons.

    Bradshaw over Mendenhall.

Id go Miller. In non ppr leagues I tend to go with the RB over the WR if the RB is of comparable talent.

Only thing holding me back is I know Daryl Richardson has a better shot at getting goal line carries.

One thing Ive learned is that you cant chase touchdowns. Players whose production is based squarely on whether they get a TD is a boom or bust proposition. Miller probably has a slightly harder matchup then Richardson because I really think Cleveland has a tough front 7 (actually very similar to ours) even without Mingo with a bunch of hard working grinders who tackle well but I think Miller is a much more talented back.

Miller. If it were PPR then I'd go Richardson.

I'm giving Miller one more week then he's off to the waiver wire.

    roster decisions

Start Cam Newton vs Buf or Andrew Luck vs Mia?
I went with Luck week 1, but considering Newton week 2.

Also, I have top priority in waivers this week. Available claims I'm considering are Jared Cook TE Stl, Julian Edelman WR NE, or Brian Hartline WR Mia. Any thoughts?
I have Gronk on the bench, and started Greg Olsen week 1. I'm considering taking Cook and releasing Olsen. Our league has a flex slot(rb, wr, te).

Thoughts? Knowshown Moreno is also available.

Newton should be the start imo. IMO hes a etter fantasy qb from luck and despite a poor week 1 showing Rivera has pledged to open up their offense. He threw like 3 passes over 10 yards last week which is something you should consider with Olsen.

Cook is a worthy grab but Id release someone else besides Olsen. Hartline is probably a worthy grab as well....

I dont wanna keep 3 TEs on the roster. I would have to release Olsen. We can only start one TE and a FLEX.

With Amendola possibly out vs ************ thu night, Edelman is looking more appealing.

Wonder if the Eric Decker pick was a mistake. No enough balls to go round in Denver. Thoughts?

I'd sell the moment he has a decent game. He might be the 4th option in Denver if Julius Thomas can be consistent.

I lost top priority, got 7th in the waiver list. I ended up getting Brian Hartline, Cook and Edelman were both gone. Now I'm considering dropping Golden Tate and getting Leonard Hankerson. Anyone think thats a bad idea?

I think Hankerson would be an inconsistent option compared to Tate.

Romo vs KC or Eli vs Denver?

TDs worth 4, INTs worth -1, pick sixes worth -5, and 1 point per 25 yards passing.

Questions: Who you guys would start this week between Greg Olsen or Julius Thomas? also considering that Dez Bryant is not totally healthy you would start Antonio Brown or Steve Smith instead?
    Thanks

Eli, for reasons Boik mentioned...plus Denver's pass rush is meh.

Can you really go wrong?? Both teams will be passing a lot IMO, both teams are playing suspect defenses, I'd go with Julius by a hair. Then trade one of those guys so you don't have to dwell over this every week.

I have a trade proposal I'd like for you folks to review. My league requires a lineup of 1 QB, 2 RBs, 3 WRs, 1 TE, 1 RB/WR/TE

    QB - Stafford
RB - MJD, Chris Johnson, Eddie Lacy, Chris Ivory, Christine Michael
WR - AJ Green, Danny Amendola, Cecil Shorts, Chris Givens, Vincent Brown, Emmanuel Sanders
    TE - Greg Olsen

I was offered a straight-up swap of Amendola for Lamar Miller.

Would folks make that trade considering the current state of my roster and the injury outlook of Mr. Glass (Amendola)?

Id probably start Thomas over Olsen, but that is just going off of last weeks numbers. I would also assume, Newton is more likely to take off than Manning.

I'd go with Julius Thomas and Steve Smith.

True he is an injury risk, and shopping him may not be a terrible play. But. Lamar may just NOT be a starting NFL running back...this week will tell you more than last week IMO but I would still tread lightly in his case.

Hankerson avoided(at least until next week, let's see how he does). Thanks for the input.

I can't help but go back to the fact that Miller is the same guy that averaged 5 YPC in (albeit) limited action last year, running behind the same offensive line (minus an average, at best, Jake Long). Meanwhile, Danny Amendola has averaged 9 games a season over the last three years, with no distinct time-table on his latest recovery efforts.

Are we overstating the importance of Miller's performance against Cleveland on Sunday? It is the mother-of-all small sample sizes.

I wouldn't make that trade regardless of Amendola potentially being out a few weeks. Miller might be healthy but he'll give you a few performances that look like he sat out so it it all balances out. Besides, once Gronk comes back there will be less attention to throw at Amendola, especially in the redzone, so there's potential for him to enter beast mode IMO.

I would say its fair that you may be overstating Miller's small sample size as much as many are his week 1 performance.

Do I think he is a 5.0ypc back?? No.
Do I think he is a 0.5 ypc back?? No.

But he still has a lot to prove IMO and I'm not sure he doesn't get taken out inside the 5 yard line either. If your willing to take a risk on Miller I understand. Maybe counter with a trade that has you winning slightly to even things out. But as of now, I just can't get on board with this trade.

Maybe post his roster and lets see what can be done.

I know Amendola, when healthy, will be a good fantasy WR2 with Brady. I don't know if Miller is an average fantasy RB2 at this point so I'd probably hold off trading for Miller until you see him worthy of starting each week.

    Start/Sit question,

I currently have Bowe @ Dallas, Steve Smith @ Buffalo, and Cecil Shorts @ Oakland starting but I also have Anquan Boldin @ Seattle on my bench. Do you think I should replace him with anyone I have in my starting line up right now?

I'm currently up 101 to 94 with only CIN D/ST(vs Pitt) left to play. My opponent has no one left to play. I'm considering benching my D/ST to solidify the win. But more points wouldn't hurt me later in the standings. I'd be 2-0, no worse than 3rd in the standings.

On the very unlikely chance Pittsburgh's offense destroys Cincy's defense, causing me to lose 7 points or more. They'd have to rack up like 40 points and 400 or 500 yards of offense.

Current wide receivers are AJ Green (starter), Marques Colston (starter), DeSean Jackson (starter), Andre Roberts, Jeremy Kerley, Marion Brown, and Percy Harvin. It's one point per reception.

Current quarterbacks are Tony Romo and Eli Manning.

Would you drop any of my receivers (thinking Roberts, Kerley, or Brown) for another quarterback? Andy Dalton, Ben Roethlisberger, Jay Cutler, Sam Braford, Alex Smith, and Ryan Tannehill are available.
