I guess that depends on the pick # but I don't think it matters, because the Raiders won't part... I really like Richardson and Kouandjio in the draft if either comes out as a junior but Kouandjio is probably a Top 10 pick and I think we'll be outside looking in.

I do agree with CK that both Monroe and Albert will be available this offseason, and I view one of these the best way to go for this team. If I had my choice, I'd swing Monroe, but wouldn't it be ideal to land both. In either case, you have brought in a starter at Tackle.

I'm not as high on Swanson as you are, while he had a productive year in 2012 at Arkansas, I don't see him replacing Pouncey and I'm not ready to commit to a Center to Guard project with Swanson, most especially when you have guys like Jackson and Richardson @ pure guard that will likely be available to us in round 1 and who I like a lot better than Swanson. Hell, I would take a Seantrel Henderson @ Miami and turn him into a Guard, before Swanson.

I also believe your overestimating the trade value of Incognito and a trade with Starks would be difficult if not impossible because of all the extenuating circumstances involved with Starks. I don't believe Starks will be in Miami next season, but I doubt Miami could trade him.

At Tackle assuming Miami can land either Albert or Monroe and again, I really see both being available, which would certainly disuade me from using a 1st rounder on tackle. That would not stop me from spending a 2nd or 3rd however and I see some that I like...

Taylor Lewan @ Michigan is probably # 1 on my board if Richardson and Kouandjio stay for their senior seasons and everyone loves Jake Matthews and with his Texas AM ties, well....

But lets look at the second teir... and here are some I think can contribute. JaWuan James (Tenn) James Hurst (NC) Morgan Moses (Virg.) Cornelius Lucas (K-ST)

:tantrum: Starks is going to go, and you will have the cap space to land Albert or Monroe and possibly both, and you also have guys like Kevin Boothe in NY @ Guard, who combined with the Giants need to sign Eli's top two targets in Nicks and Cruz, could slip into being available, we'll see. I'll comment more on Free Agents this offseason when we actually know for sure, who wasn't resigned. Right now, even Albert and Monroe are speculation, albeit strong speculation.

I just don't think the Jaguars have any real reason to let Eugene Monroe walk. Like I said, they have a lot of cap room and no dead money. Why would they let him walk??
I see Jones-Drew walking before him.

I don't like any of those OG prospects and I expect a trade up would be necessary to get a top three OT, just like this year's draft.

Pouncey and Asamoah gives us two prototypical zone blocking guards with all-pro potential; I like that a lot. Like I said when was the last time the Dolphins even had a OG who ranked in the top 10.

I am not at all sure that the Dolphins are set at RB. I would rather solve the OL with a couple FA's and draft a center than trade up for a OT this year. Dolphins may need a feature RB. We'll have to wait and see what Turner and Nixon and the boys can come up with this season.

I kinda forgot about Danny Watkins. Maybe Watkins or Dallas Thomas will surprise everybody later on.

Really, I'm shocked you don't like Richardson, as I have him as a 1st year starter and Jackson has that size I love at Guard and has been a monster at Mississippi State to date. Free Agency wise, Kevin Boothe is the prize at Guard and fits like a glove in our scheme and is versatile enough to move around at multiple positions.

In any event, there is an entire season between now and the time we can fix this thing...

Kevin Booth will be 31 next July. Jon Asamoah will be 26. Asamoah is on a completely different level athletically from Booth.

Do you mean Antonio Richardson? I didn't say that I didn't like the OT prospects, it's the OG's I'm not impressed with....yet.

Cyril Richardson?? Do you think he fits a zone blocking scheme? I worry about guys like that and their weight. He might end up playing at 350. Maybe he is the next Carl Nix but I'm skeptical.

I guess it will depend on how Joeckel plays, you would think, or, I would.

If they move him over and let Monroe walk they still have to have replacement at RT. Did they add depth this offseason, because last year they had nothing.

It will mean signing a FA to play RT or spending another high pick for a starter at RT. I think their backups are undrafted guys.

Brendan Moore would help in the immediate future. But they need to commit to a ZBS and get a pair of guards that fit a ZBS and a potential RT of the future. Hopefully Dallas Thomas develops sooner rather than later and they can plug him into LG and switch Cogs to RG and run a ZBS that should improve the run game.

To me, it's pretty scary with the stating five they have right now. Pouncey and maybe Incognito are about the only sure things on the OL at this time. Jerry is only starting because they have no other viable option right now. He is below average as an NFL guard and I just don't see him getting any better.

Clabo showed last week why the Falcons let him go and there was so little interest in him in free agency. His age is showing and his strength was suppose to be in the running game. He certainly didn't show much ability in that area of the game and he appears to be a liability in the passing game.

Martin is what he is. A below average LT in the NFL at this point in his career. Perhaps he will eventually improve enough to be considered an average LT, but that is probably about the best we can expect from him.

The backups along the offensive line are nothing to write home about. This entire OL remains the biggest area of concern for this season, just as it has been for the past several years.

The Dolphins are going to need to draft Offensive Lineman in the first round for at least the next two to three years. Hopefully these linemen will be the same caliber of player as Pouncey. Until the offensive line is severely upgraded, it is going to be difficult for this team to get into the top tier of teams in the NFL.

Ireland has done a very good job in building the teams defense, especially the defensive line. Now he needs to show that he can draft and sign in free agency, players who can make this offensive line an area of strength and not an area of weakness.

They cracked 100 yards rushing by a hair in the Indy game, and the last eight iced it. That's an improvement over the Cleveland game. They may come together and surprise us all. Too early to tell.

Was I the only person surprised by that? When was the last time Miami needed 8 yards to ice the game and got those 8 yards by running?

the offensive line will need another couple of games to hit it's stride. having said that, right guard will ultimately have to be up-graded. maybe there are guards on the roster that can win the position.

After watching what Cleveland did to the Ravens I don't feel so bad about last week. Whatever the reason, and by no means a perfect performance, the line did better. Put the old theory of repetition of good habits in to place and see what happens.

To me, can it be said we don't miss Jake Long?

I think it can and should be said, have not watched any Rams games but have seen Martin at least be passable.

    Clabo is disappointing tbh.

Long was on the decline for sure IMO. I wasn't bothered at all when he went. I don't believe we've missed him at all as a team. Maybe somebody can show his PFF compared to league avg and Martin, etc.

The victory formation kneel down is a nice play for our team to run at the end of the game as well! One of my favorites!
