This kind of sh&$ excites me long term, I think this is the edge everyone isn't fully aware of in the NfL, and I only hope Philbin continues to recognize the art of Cam wake and how he can use this man to motivate his team.

Now if you want him to do a training show w his workouts or his diet then that'd be a cool idea.

And the one and only reason he doesn't get more noise around the media is bc he's a Dolphin. I honestly think he'd be more well-known on any other team.

How do you go about your business in that locker room if your not as dedicated as Cam wake..

 

That's what makes him special Deej. If everybody on every team followed his example, it'd be the norm.

 

That's true, but I'll be damn if I'm gonna be the guy that doesn't try to emulate him, so I'm hoping he will inspire more than the normal franchise and give us the advantage of having more players take his approach to their craft..

 

I remember thinking he could only be so good bc he doesn't have a diverse series of moves, boy was I wrong. I have no doubt he is the best 4-3 DE in the NFL, overall.

He's is so strong vs the run but adds 8 lbs95% muscle. He's lightning quick but wants to gets faster so he now runs with DBs.

I love this guy, he should be a hall of famer.

 

Then a documentary for sure, that would be the right idea..

The morning wake, the strength training, the science of nutrition, the sport specific training, the position specific training, the preparation, what he does with his free time, the monotony of it all is fascinating..

 

I am quickly becoming A Wake fan and I think this guy cant get enough praise compared to other defensive players.

 

This reminds me of possibly the greatest of all time, Jerry Rice. He was the at the top of his profession and yet still worked out harder in the offseason then everyone. It's what separates the great from the elite. What a great article. I loved me some Cam Wake before this article and this just brings it to a higher level. You have to think that this will rub off on the other players; especially the younger ones.

 

His cfl highlights were awesome and all, but after his first preseason game, I thought if he would of entered the draft with what he put on tape after that first preseason game, he would be a top 10 pick.

I remember cursing sparano and company out for not playing him and keeping him inactive..morons.

 

Cam Wake and 10 clones would go undefeated. I am serious.

 

I think if I'm the strength coach or head coach, that is the objective, to go above and beyond to use this man as a teaching example...seriously, challenge your fu$&in team, ask them why can't the all be their own version of wake, I mean you see in his case, what complete mental and physical dedication did for his career, financially included..

He went from undrafted and cut out of the NFL, to the best in class..

If I was coach I would ask him to lead a team of players in the offseason like a boot camp..

 

His story and his character is the stuff legends are made of. He is the consummate player that you want your other players to emulate and if you are a parent, you want your son to look up to and dream of becoming. You can describe him a dozen ways, impeccable character, great attitude, and others, but the best part of all of it is he is a Miami Dolphin!

 

I love everything about Cameron Wake, even if he wasn't a Dolphin I would find it hard to not like the guy (Jet, or Pat excluded). He is the only person I want to get a new jersey of at the moment he will have a great career with Miami ( at end of season I can add Tannehill to that list ). Just a absolute beast and watching him play just leaves me in awe.

After reading that article I need a burger, a beer and a nap.

 

I have several pedestrian observations:
1) tannehill has only had a year & a hlf playing qb (university) when picked in the first round, #8. he has experience playing wr (university) & safety (h.s.) he has wheels, can run with the ball, much better on the move than anyone has given him credit for... he has wheels too! he has been seriously under-rated & will only grow with each game. he will not disappoint. i predict he will eclipse marino as a franchise qb.
2) our defense is ready as good as any in the nfl & better than most... they will only improve & will have to be contended with every game.
3) hartline is the real deal & is already a proven comodity. our receiving corp is as good as any & better than most. they cannot continue to double-up on wallace & deal this passing corp.
4) special teams is excellent & will only get better as the season progresses
5) not to worry about Left Tackle... much to do about nothing, the offensive line will improve with each game played, same with the running game.
6) philbin & company are as good a coaching cadre as any in the nfl & better than most... time is on on our side, we will own the afc east over the next decade...

I remember there was this dlockz guy at some other site who said Wake wouldn't develop. Just cut him.

 

the dolphins website is doing a series called "Under The Helmet" and so far they have done mini documentaries on Tannehill and Reshad Jones. I am sure they will do one on Wake
