This is amazing. The driver makes me LOL every single time. He just keels over like he was sniped, and is never seen again.

I had to track down the video to see it in full. Though arguably calm water, they reportedly hit the wake of another boat, traveling at optimal speed to tank everyone aboard. Five were apparently hospitalized.

Girl in pink looks like dice rolling down a craps table.

Back on track, Its one thing when teammates claim a workout regiment is lunacy , and quite another when an NFL strength and conditioning coach is outright certain of it.

Bro I get your point, but a lot of people realize football is a game and there is life after. They probably don't want to waste that much time in the prime of their life. Of course it would be great for us if they did, but they are human beings.

This isn't the Colosseum. They aren't animals here to amuse us and win for us. They are people who probably want to enjoy their life OUTSIDE of football as well.

The more you watch it, the better it gets. One of those rare magical gifs. You need at least 3 views focused on each individual in the picture to get the full effect hahaha

False. Cam Wake was swimming in the water that day. They caught Wake's wake. Not the wake of another boat.

It's more than that DJ - It's about that commitment to every other guy in that locker room to do something special... Winning a Championship binds a team forever, it is an accomplishment and feeling that is worth the sacrifice. Being great, takes commitment and sacrifice!! With that comes reward.

Great men sacrifice !! Great teams sacrifice !! Great players sacrifice !!

You want a life outside football - Go play for the Jets ! :tongue2:

DJ, you'd probably like Philly's approach. They actually have a sports science guy listed among their coaches. I've heard a few comments about how players have started to buy in to the value of sleeping 8 hours a day, for example.

you sir, are gettin me hyped..That's exactly what I'm talkin about.

You wanna continue to lose, take Alex's approach, you wanna create a special franchise then put more importance on aquiring players who understand what wake is talking about..to me, it's a red flag now if you don't, go find another team that will accept the lazy dumb athlete who's talented..

I admit..I'm in love with the Kracken.

Yup, chip Kelly is a great coach, it's a simple formula, he needs the body of his athletes to perform quickly, smartly, and for extended periods of time, so he demands certain steps that will give the body proper fuel to execute..

You get a team to buy in, you will dominate..it all starts at the scouting level.ask the right questions..

Paul Solai has joined the Kracken crew..he sure looked good last week..

They aren't cheating me. I don't pay their salary, and while I love a win a loss will not change me in any way.

Also you don't have to go Cam Wake to take care of your body. I agree it is part of their job to do so to a certain extent, but not to the extent Wake does.

I believe once your getting paid to be a pro athlete, it's your duty to go full metal jacket in strength and nutrition..to many folks out there that would do anything to be in their shoes, to many folks who never get a chance..bottom line, there is no excuse not to..

People who idolize pro athletes and would do anything to be them should reevaluate their lives and beliefs IMO.

I would love for the Dolphins to grab/license that meme from the Clash of the Titans movie and play it after Wake sacks or maybe as the defense takes the field in key situations. "Release the Kracken!"

Alex, you're taking this wrong IMO... DJ is illustrating in his typical colorful fashion that playing in the NFL is a rare privilege and that the players should recognize that and appreciate it. As such, they should make every effort to hone their craft and that begins with optimal training and nutrition. Wake realized while in Canada that he almost lost his opportunity and rededicated himself. That got him back into the NFL. He is one of the guys who "gets it".

I think he is a perfect example for his teammates and for kids coming up in college sports to idolize and emulate. YMMV...
