If anybody's wife or girlfriend makes them watch "Don't be tardy..." you'll actually feel sorry for Kroy Bierman who now has to spend a lot more time with his hose beast Real housewives of Atlanta wife. The woman is a true train wreck and this schlub got himself involved with ehr and her three kids.
I am not 100 % sure, but I think the Miami vs. Atlanta game should be the national game on Fox. That would be sweet for us non Directv/non Floridians
http://sports.yahoo.com/news/falcons-biermann-ewing-lost-season-191819295--nfl.html Couple Falcons starters out for the season from this weekend.
It's a 4:05 game so I doubt it gets much national coverage... no FOX double header in week 3, CBS has the double header.
Does anybody else have the feeling we didn't rush Patterson/Davis/Taylor back against the Colts because of who the next 2 opponents were? I was pretty worried with Patterson out against the Colts, but it didn't kill us (though Carroll REALLY tried to). I hope we have at least 2 of these guys full ready for the dirty birds.
The only place I have been reading that Carroll played poorly is on this board. Every where else stated that he did a pretty good job.
On the plays where he flashed he did well...I'm talking about the plays where he SHOULD have been in the mix but was lost and didn't know who to cover. There were several that turned into wide open, easy catches. He probably just needs to learn the defense better/deeper and maybe watch film more.
I hope they start OSI in place of Kroy. OSI blows in run defense. Just run at him all day long. And yes Nolan has grown some so far this year. For a depth guy he'd be worth resigning as a #4 depth guy. Just let him go if he tries for that nickel money.
Tannehill has a great game, 355 yards for 1 TD 0 int. M.Ryan with 1 TD 2 int. Falcons struggle hard on 3rd down and red zone dispite Julio Jones big day, fins win 13-20 Is it Sunday yet???
A source tells NFL Network that Steven Jackson (thigh) could be out 2-4 weeks. Source: Ian Rapoport on Twitter Falcons placed WLB Sean Weatherspoon (foot) on injured reserve/designation to return. add bierman and they lost 4 starters for now
Wow. That's crazy. No wonder we're favored. Incidentally, GOD DAMNIT!!! I own Steven Jackson in fantasy.
the falcons board is really filled with a lot of idiots....every injury so far besides the jackson one is answered with "**** him, he sucks anyways"
With Julio, Gonz, and White still in the game, we'll have our hands full. Hopefully Patterson can play this week. As for Carroll, I think he is a bonafide nickel back! He is having a great season so far. I don't see us holding them to 13 points though that would be awesome.
Was just about to post about Weatherspoon (whom I love/loved), but Alex beat me to it. It's certainly looking like we're coming into this game healthier than they are, so I hope we take advantage. The thing I want to see least is a lackluster performance in our home opener after the positive momentum we've generated so far.
Yea, but White may still be nursing the (high?) ankle sprain, and Julio is somewhat dinged too I believe.
Sean weatherspoon is their heart..their gonna miss their middle linebacker, miss communication should be apparent. More scared of Quizz rodgers then Jackson.. Ryan plays well in our stadium.. Lamar miller is playing in his college stadium..he should have some more aggressiveness in his nature.
I think a lot depends on how healthy Roddy White is, and if we can get Patterson and Davis 100% healthy. If we get positives on those fronts, then I think we stand a real good chance. I like the way our D-Line could match up with Atlanta's mediocre O-line, and Biermann's absence will put a crimp in what they can do with their defense. Gonzales or Jones might get their 100 yards, but as long as we limit the real damage and not let both of them go wild we should be in good shape. I expect the house to be pretty loud and the team to quite fired up. I just hope we don't get too sloppy or cute for our own good.
Yeah but Vegas has a way of knowing these things. Even if they can't necessarily place an exact timetable, if we're talking about a guy about to go on IR, or a guy about to miss upwards of a month, they'll know enough to have an idea that they aren't going to play next week.
