Ryan Tannehill is ****ing terrible at getting guys lined up in a hgurry up. Terrible. I mean, like 35 seconds to 40 seconds a ****ing play. There are zero Pro Bowls in the future until he learns to get more than three or four plays off in 2 whole minutes.
Good news: We only had the ball three times. Of those three times we moved the ball easily twice. We just need to stay on the field and establish the tempo.
Look at it this way, Falcs are playing Sparanoball atm, chew clock, score FG's We are playing "move down the field quickly" 3 pos's, 2 scores
13-10 isn't bad at half bad clock management in that 2 minute drill but can't be too disappointed. Gotta start 2nd half with a td
we are going toe to toe with one of the best teams in the NFL. I loved the aggressiveness before the half. We are a good team.
Hey, after this half? and we are going into the break only down 3? and with momentum? we couldn't be wiping our brow in relief soon enough. the tackling is what has me scared.
Why has our hurry up offense been so slow for years now? I always assumed it was a Sparano issue, but clearly not Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
Easy my friend... Down by 3 at half and getting the ball... Defense getting a loooooooooong rest. Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 4
That's something that comes with experience. Remember Tannehill just hit the mark for starts Ireland/Parcells would even used to consider drafting a QB. This kid has soooo much room to keep growing. And we still have gotten points plenty of times in the 2 minute drill so far. Our ball after the half right?
We need to get pressure on Ryan in the second half. And find a way to make tackles in the run game. Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk 4
Have to make some adjustments. I know Dion's not a run stopper but at least he can get stops against Rodgers.
To be man handled like that and to only be down 3 points is pretty impressive. We get the ball back to start the game. I would love to see us drive down, score a TD and take the lead. That will be some major time off for that Falcon offense. Hopefully they've cooled off a little bit and we've made some good adjustments!
I hate mental lassitude costing us points. That;'s beating ourselves. The way we move the ball, that should be 7 points if Tannehill has any tiny shred of urgency in lining up his team. Slow *** motha****er cost us 4 points, literally because he doesn't know how to move around a little faster and act like we need to hurry.
They can't get Soliai and the regular DT rotation back soon enough. Also go get Kheeston Randall back.
Dion's not as bad against the run as people think, I think. That's about him being tall, lanky and a good pass rusher... so we assume he sucks against the run. Now, I'm not saying it's a strength of his, but he is not BAD. He's average vs the run and good vs the pass. Also, he is surprsingly strong at the POA. CK did a few posts on it pre draft, because I also thought Dion lacked the ability to play with ballast and anchor at the Point of Attack.
Why did we cut him again? Because Martin is versatile and can also play end? Where are there snaps for that anyways with Wake, Shelby, Vernon and Jordan? Ditch Martin, get Randall. Heal quickly big Paul the Pineapple Soliai!
