The article talks about the issues that are still in tact with the Dolphins. Here's the first or paragraph of each of the five "lingering issues." Article by Omar Kelly.

One thing that I noticed is that he didn't mention the RG spot. I think that's a big spot for us to fill in.

RG is important, and if none of the kids step up, its McKinney. So at that spot, at least we have a fall back position.

I don't ever remember the Fins being this thin at WR. I would trade Jason Taylor the Bucs straight up for Maurice Stovall. I think hes a kid who could break out in the right offense. We could also maybe work out a deal for Clayton who might flourish in our offfense. Hes a physical guy who likes to block, but like every other young player in Tampa, Gruden has wrecked his confidence. If we could get him and a fourth for Taylor, I think that would be a good deal for both teams.

    1) I still say Jason is going to retire. He has done everything possible to make it harder to come back and play here, or anywhere. His heart's moved on to life after football.

    2) The offseason conditioning program will helpreduce those risks drastically. So will our tougher practices, I'm sure. We should see less catastrophic injuries this year, as our warriors are in football-shape. They will wear down a bit because of this, though, and we'll see plenty of nagging injuries after week 12.

    3) True, though our new staff will get more juice out of the same lemons than the previous staff could. Also, we are MUCH smarter about making sure our depth contributes at a HIGH-LEVEL on Special Teams too., increasing their roster value to us on Sundays.

    4) This remains a problem. Hopefully they decide by the second preseason game. Also critical is that *once the regime decides to give a guy the first team snaps on his own, he cannot screw up and LOSE that position by performing poorly*. Half the onus is on the coaching staff to decide. The other half is on the players consistently proving they deserve to remain in that #1 spot.

    5) Win more. That should help.
