Kurt's fake mustache in Tombstone was pretty obvious.

Glad to hear that Taylor's finally healthy. I was pretty high on this kid going into the Draft and was pumped when Miami took him. I wish he would've been healthy through camp, as I think he could have won a starting spot. At any rate, I hope he contributes soon.

Entertaining, but when it comes to historical accuracy, suspend your disbelief at the door. I am sure I am in a small minority, but I thought Costner did a better job of portraying Wyatt Earp.

You are indeed a small minority. I hated Wyatt Earp but Tombstone is one of my favorite movies.

    Val Kilmer stole the show.

And Jamar needs to prove it on the field, not with words.

Tough game for any rookie to see their first real action, Dion, JT, and Davis, lets see what these rooks can do against a perfect machine of offense..

He's going to have problems long term, anti inflammatories are universal in the NFL, if he cannot take them his recovery times are going to be tedious.

I'm excited to see him and hopefully Davis too. I expect to see some issues w/ the rooks, but hopefully gets them better prepared for the conference.

That's actually, not the line. One of the most misquoted famous movie quotes ever.

Actually, historically speaking, Tombstone is EXTREMELY accurate, even down to Doc Holliday's final words. As a matter of fact, historians have actually praised how parties this movie actually was.

Sure, there were certain liberties taken, but that is true of any period piece. But the events were real, the characters were real, and the dialogue was pretty spot on to what is on record.

    It's:

    "I'm your huckleberry"

    Twice he said it:

Ringo: "Don't any of you have the guts to play for blood!!!"
Doc: "I'm your huckleberry, and that is just my game"

Ringo: "Well..I didn't think you had it in you"
Doc: "I'm your huckleberry, why Johnny Ringo, you look like someone just walked over your grave"

For cripes sake, spent last summer having people literally walking up to me saying:

"...has anyone ever told you that you look like...Val Kilmer.."?

That and in the days pre Sat Dish and Cable being 200 dollars..had 1 film to watch...Tombstone

"Age quod agis" (do what you do best...getting drunk)
"Credat Appella Judea Non Ego" ( the jewish guy may buy it, not me)
"Eventus stultorum, magister" (experience is the teacher of fools)
"In padre requsicata" (your final fate rests in the priests hands)

Arma in armatos quod jura sinunt

I've been reading and studying about the events on which that movie was based since I was a teenager, everything I could get my hands on, including newspaper articles from the local paper back then, and I would beg to differ. Sure, the basic part about there being a shootout at the OK Corral, and who was there, who got killed, who got wounded, etc, was about right. I do not agree the rest of it was generally all that accurate at all. YMMV, as the Padre would say. It made for good entertainment though.
