I heard John Gruden mention this last night, that NFL Coaches break down their season into 4 quarters of 4 games. I think if you look at our season this way, you'll realize just how important starting 3-1 is, for our goal of reaching the Playoffs 1) @ Clevland W - 23-10 2) @ Indy w - 24-20 3) Atlanta W - 27-23 4) @ NO L - 38-17 1st Qtr Record 3-1 3 Road Games 1) Baltimore 2) Buffalo 3) @ New England 4) Cincinati 3 Home Games Just looking at this schedule if you had to make a prediction based on our team now.....what would you have us at? Based on how the 1st Qtr went...I dont think its unreasonable to go 3-1, at worst 2-2 1) At Buccaneers 2) San Diego 3) Panthers 4) @ Jets 3 Home Games Looking at this Qtrs Schedule is a 3-1 Record unprobable? 1) @ Pittsburgh 2) New England 3) @ Buffalo 4) Jets 2 Home - 2 Away I think a 3-1 record in this stretch would be hard to go...but...I can see 2-2 without it being a stretch. So...looking at this in Qtrs....its not CRAZY to see 12-4....its certainly within the realm of believability to see a 11-5 team, and I think at worst, based on how we have played the first Qtr...we end up 10-6.
Terrell Pryor has a higher QB rating than Tannehill, how do you propose we win 9 more games with this kid going through these growing pains.
LOL.. How can I possibly argue with that kind of logic. Your right man.. We suck Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I was thinking the same thing when gruden brought it up. It looks like a pretty nice schedule after you break it down like that. he said he has never heard of a coach who doesn't plan that way and I think its a logical approach. Outlook seems positive... Even moreso after we walked away with a 3-1 in the first quarter. This Ravens game is a must win imo. Although Ton if games seem that way.
Do you watch the games? Headlines from weeks 2 and 3 were Tannehill outplays Luck/MattRyan for the Win! Why don't you go troll the Falcons and Colts boards saying that Pryor is better than their Qb's
I was thinking 10-11 wins before the season started, now I'm thinking 11 or 12. 3 in the bag already. Ravens, Bills(x2), Jets(x2), Chargers, Steelers, Bucs = 11. That leaves New England(x2), Cincinnati and Carolina. Yep, 11 or 12 sounds about right IMO.
