46 yard completion just a few seconds previously, the whole team basically sprinted up to the line? I think the spike is the right call there. They needed to regroup and give the O-line a chance to breath. Otherwise they would have been gassed and could have given up a sack or something horrible like that. Oh, right.
Nope. Doesn't work like that. Games you should have won and don't ALWAYS come back to haunt you later on. This team won't be making the playoffs and dollars to doughnuts this loss will be the reason why. It's been that way for us as long as I can remember.
It was a bad drop. This team has SERIOUS issues on 3rd and 2-3 yards. We have had issues with it for 2 weeks.
Ok. Let's get practical. Turner needs to get fired tonight. TONIGHT. Since training camp he has had no idea what the hell to do. We all knew since the Hall of Fame game that something radical needed to be done about the offensive line. Turner has had a preseason of five games and another five regular season games and he has proven beyond doubt that he doesn't have a clue. We need to adjust the blocking schemes over the bye and/or give other personnel the chance to play on the OL. What we have now is totally unacceptable. We should have gotten desperate about the offensive line long ago. We got complacent instead. You can't depend on what you hope will happen. That's what we did with Martin. You have to take control and make what you want happen.
exactly why you want to throw underneath, take the 3 or 4 yrds and go from there. instead they lost 4 yrds
He's made them chicken ****. He's a big mouthed coach who doesn't deserve a job. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
There ARE no other O linemen on our team that we can put in. They all SUCK. Our starters are horrible so can you just imagine how bad our subs are? As for blocking schemes...how's that gonna work when neither of our starting RBs can pass block worth a damn?
I rarely post much..But to everyone blaming tannehill,go back a rewatch it.Every sack happened in less than 3 seconds..
If they really don't think we can get better play than this from Garner or Thomas, we really are ****ed. No way they see our line as adequate. If they do, I'm out. **** coach speak, say we need help. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk now Free
Tannehill pocket awareness is also just as bad as the line & everybody know if you're in field goal range you can not take a sack there, luck, rg3, Wilson would have took off...I keep thinking to myself if tannehill was a wr at tech can you imagine how bad those other guys was lol
And another thing: IM REALLY SICK OF OTHER FANBASES DOMINATING OUR BUILDING. This fanbase has NO PRIDE.
Martin's a second rounder. Clabo was a top tackle last year. We can't have 5 first rounders. It's coaching. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
I know they have no other Olinemen who are competent, but i think some sort of statement has to be made. Call them out in public, cut someone. signing big papa pump to play couldnt be much worse..
You're right. So let's trade for one or two. Give some picks. We can't draft them anyway. Look at Martin and Jerry.
Yes, because after an embarrassing performance by our offense throwing away a winnable game, everyone should just be all rainbows and freaking unicorns.
Relax... I don't think anyone is specifically blaming Tannehill for us loosing this game. If they are, I agree with you then, I just dont think I've seen anyone do that yet. The fact does remain though, he left some questionable plays on the field today. Not hitting Wallace deep a few times where he underthrew him, on that last drive some of those throws were late, the one sack where Clabo is immediately pushed right back into Tannehill, you can't take that sack at the end. Of course Clabo shouldnt get driven back that quickly, but you've got to move away from that pressure. I thought Ryan played alright today given the circumstances. Given the circumstances, we'll never see him live up to his true potential this year behing this OL either, that's the sad thing. He looks the part of the QB to the future, like you said in another post, if he's putting up these kinds of numbers behind this OL, and with no running game, then he's gotta be pretty special. To say he's the reason we lost today though... no way. Even if he doesn't take that last sack, or another one or two of those passes get complete, we likely just get the game to OT, then who knows what happens. Baltimore was gashing our D in the last half anyways... Frustrating though, I feel we easily could have won this game.
He is aware he's getting sacked. Everybody wants him to shuffle but his response to pressure is to be the third fastest quarterback in the NFL. Rather than a play by play reaction, his entire game is built around handling pressure. There are three weak links on the line. There's just no way to anticipate pressure from three points. Shifting up and you have Jerry's man, left to Martin's, or right to Clabo's. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk now Free
I almost pulled my hair out when I saw him signalling for it running up there, I was hoping for fake spike!! Especially as then he takes a sack on the next down to bring up 3-rd and long. Sack on 1st, would have given us two downs to get 5-10 to kick the FG at worst.
Lol..well..Ill tell u what. You spend your football season in a perpetual state of dispair. Not how I choose to spend it. I want meanigful games in Dec. We are well on our way to that. Same people every week who cant wait to be the people who told us we wouldnt win. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
You have 3 guys on that staff that have spent time coaching offensive lines and have had success doing so. It's more talent than coaching.
hmm tannehill 0 pocket awareness still mike wallace looks like he got payed and hes done playing football our offensive line is just so bad even on that awesome play tannehill made to gibson down the sideline martin was knocked clean off his feet 7 yards back LOL also our running play selection is really poor
Folks, there's no way of avoiding it. Quite simply, our offensive line lost this game for us. It will lose us quite a few others until we toss out the crap we have, starting with the coach.
ok..and we should all form at the wailing wall and bleat or sorrows to the heavens? Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
