He's not commenting on the post, per se. He's commenting that this kind of nonsensical post gets left alone, but one that addresses the real weaknesses of the team get moved to soapbox, as to hide the truth from those here that cannot handle the truth.
Uh...just the opposite. You get lauded for posting nonsense. People who post objective truth get ridiculed with mob shouts of "ban this troll" for telling the truth about the team. THAT is hypocrisy. The easiest thing in the world is to shout "Go team go..you guys are so good...relax man, we still won three games", regardless of how ignorant and off base it is.
This is ironic. Because you have totally complained about my post, when no one forced you to respond to me either. Hello Pot, Meet Kettle.
You did it again, lol, calling them inferior. The term you're looking for, is, teams with talent on par with ours. Otherwise I declare the Dolphins the best team in the league considering they beat Indianapolis who in turn beat the best team in the league, Seattle.
I get it but I wonder if maybe you're seeing stuff that comes up in the gameday thread specifically as opposed to threads being started on the forum? Because like I said, I pretty much went down the list of the threads people started in the main forum and it seemed like the bulk of them were actually pretty reasonable. I don't visit the gameday thread usually because I'm so busy on gameday.
Um, no, that's not the term I'm looking for... b/c the talent and play of Carolina, SD, NY, Buffalo, Pitt, and Tampa isn't on par with ours.... which is why we can beat the Colts & Falcons of the league in back to back weeks but they can't. Now, did I irrationally say we'd remain unbeatable against inferior talent? No. So tell me, genius, if we're 3-2 now against the toughest part of our schedule, what does that extrapolate out to for 16 games and when factoring in our less difficult remaining schedule? Here are the facts: Miami is 3-2 against an opponent record of 16-8, with 2 wins over quality playoff teams to boot.... so now tell me how that supports your theory that talent-wise we're on par with a collective of poor to average teams with a combined record of 7-19 who are lucky to get one win against a playoff team, let alone two in back to back weeks.
I am not bothered or upset with people being optimistic about the Dolphins surprising 3-0 start. or with the Dolphins now being 3-2. I don't feel its doom and gloom for people being upset with two straight losses. Its an interesting contrast in views as some people feel its wrong for people to be positive and outwardly optimistic with the Dolphins thus far, and other people think it is wrong to be negative and outwardly pessimistic of the Dolphins thus far. I guess it is just an example of the old saying of the old glass half empty versus the glass half full. I am still hopeful for the season but I see obvious problems that may not have easy solutions. I am afraid that there may be problems that don't have an solutions or fixes any time soon or maybe even this season. I will say I am proud of the play of Ryan Tannehill especially considering the difficult conditions he is playing under. I just hope he can last out the year, staying healthy. I would say 307 yards passing with no interceptions, no running game, and all the while getting pounded and sacked 6 times is pretty impressive.
The OP says something positive and gets ripped, guess some Dolphins fans are not any better than that.
yeah it does look a bit tougher than i remember all of a sudden, but still nothing like the first 5 games. Still can't believe NE pulled that off - for the love of god, we can't catch a break! I don't see the issue here, both sides of the emotional swing can be discussed - on one hand, the last two games exposed some problems, on the other hand, we're 3-2 after playing N.O, Indy, Balt, ATL, and Cleveland on the road - who i might add have turned out to have a pretty good defense. Also, we haven't laid any 10pt performances - that's a change. I'm curious to see the play calling after the bye. The leadership of this team needs to step up!!!
