Carolina signed them to roster from our practice squad.... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/10/09/panthers-sign-a-pair-of-players/
I remember when I was looking at YAC stats yesterday and Carolina is last in the league with 182 yards. Their ST DVOA is ranked 22nd. They can use all the help they can get.
Does that mean Miami still has an open spot then? Jordan Kovacs was moved to the 53 man roster pretty late last week, so Spadola would fill that spot. Now with McNutt gone, unless I'm missing something, there's a spot still open.
Spadola was the jet fans idol this preseason, they fell in love...lol..were pissed at his release... Mcnutt...well, to take a scene from tony Montana, and grid I'm sorry bro.. "I never liked that peece a chit, I never trusted him"
I never though i'd see an entire thread devoted to the loss of Marvin McNutt. My life is now complete. Or less complete. Or something. After work I'm gonna bust a McNutt in my girl in remembrance of his preseason performances. Never Forget.. Robert Baker.
when your doing that later, you know that thing with your girl, make sure there's a towel available because that Mcnutt sure is sloppy. Too much?
So what's his name (total brain fart), our normal starting safety, is still hurt and going to be apparently?
I see no problem in the receiving-corp, especially with the emergence of Clay as a play-maker. will be interesting to see what becomes with Dustin Keller in 2014. if he returns healthy, suddenly we are much improved & very dangerous along the seam with two play-makers at TightEnd. am also interested in seeing what role Thigpen morphs into as a w/r & safety valve out of the backfield.
Chris Clemons? He's been "hurt" but played every game, and should be healthier after the bye. The S we signed to the PS just replaces Kovacs, who was signed because we cut McCray.
