I do corporate communications for an insurance company, as well as some of their advertising. And I freelance, too.

 

I have decided to represent myself after being turned down by Drew Rosenhaus.

He feels as if I have the potential to be the next Chad Johnson, on and off the field.

 

Writer here too. Working on a feature film script right now and have a couple of skits that have been written and waiting to be cast and filmed. One makes me blow snot bubbles I laugh so hard at it, so hopefully it gets done soon before I lose interest in the project.

Hmmm Perhaps I should trade for all the fellow wordsmithians and declare my team the Writers on the Storm?

Fortunately/Unfortunately we are extremely busy with the writing staff so my follow-up to see my projects through production kind of falls by the wayside at times, allowing other things to leapfrog them.

What I need to do is set aside sometime to cast and film my bits (only a couple of minutes long) while continuing my writing schedule now.

We do have a trailer online for the zombie movie I helped write. I actually have executive producer's credit on that one. Let me see if I can dig up a link for ya.

The script for the movie I have been working on is not on the internet right now. Seeing as how we have had initial talks with WB Independant, we didn't want to shoot ourselves in the foot and shop it around online. Besides, I don't think it would do us anygood online right now.

I do however, have some of my creative writing for certain scenes posted in various places that I can reference at a later date. These are not in script form, rather a short story or treatment. I am lucky enough to have a script writer who I can give my stuff to to have it converted. Which acts as another pair of eyes for any continuity/spelling/other errors to be filtered out.

I do plan on developing skits and other materials to be released on the internet exclusively as it is a medium that is quickly surpassing television/music/movies and radio in terms of time spent watching/listening to it in a day.

The key is to find out a way to market them online as it is so new it can be tricky and doesn't follow the typical laws of entertainment. It is the main reason the writers went on strike and the actors are about too.

Pick is in, apologies for the delay. Its 215 PM....and I just got back from last nights Pearl Jam concert

 

@ the garden? My favorite Concert DVD is PJ live @ the Garden. It is almost euphoric when the croud sings the beginning of Betterman while Eddy just listens to them while playing his guitar and not saying a word. Then he lets the crowd know that he is going to start singing by saying "Oooooh". Greatness I tell you, when you can have a crowd do your concert for you.

How was the show last night? I got to see them down here 2 weeks ago. It started slow with their less known stuff but then they came out with their better known songs and the croud got more into it

Ya at the Garden. It was outstanding. One of my friends filmed much of the first show on Tuesday night with a 4GB SD card and I watched the one last night and I can say it was infinitely better. They had Ace Feeley come out and perform with the band for the last half hour or so, and of course Eddie went on one of his political rants for about 10 minutes of the two and a half hours the band performed for. It was a show Ive been itching to see for years as they have never played MSG before this week because of past disputes with Ticketmaster but have been my favorite band since they were known as Mookie Blaylock (after the former NBA player).

He did play Betterman among others. They did a 8+ minute version of Evenflow which was absolute greatness and about 10 minutes of Rearviewmirror which made my day. They played Alive, WMA, Why Go (which I heard they dont play often), Garden, Given to Fly, State of Love and Trust, and closed with yellow Leadbetter.

 

Oh you wont hold out. No sir, you wouldnt do that to an old chum would ya?

 

Damn, another potential selection snatched before my pick. Now I know how BuckeyeKing felt in the GM League draft.

 

THat is always the case. They also played all those songs at Palm Beach. I knew about the ticketmaster fiasco but what do you mean by they never played in the MSG...do you mean while the ticketmaster fight was going on?

 

They had never played in madison square garden before this week because of the fight with ticketmaster. Just about every event, whether sports or entertainment, MSG uses ticketmaster for.

Edit: I should also add that among the celebs I noticed at the show: The olsen Twins, hockey player Sean Avery, and ex hockey player Steve Webb. Anyone know if Kevorkian does group rates?

Actually had Don on the draft board and some good ideas for a writeup until Boik took him. Would've been perfect for the Socal Stash since he's in Long Beach but oh well, I like my picks.

Since the draft won't be snaking back to my pick anytime soon, it's back to handling dangerous chemicals and bloodwork for me.
