:ffic: Last minute nail biter perhaps. I like Clemson at home as well but wouldn't bet on the game. The downside to our programs getting back on track are all the unexciting blowouts littered throughout the season, so I'm greatly looking forward to this matchup.

I'm an old and jaded fan. My expectations have been lowered.

While the teams record may have exceeded my expectations after the first five games, I look at all the areas that Ireland has failed to upgrade in the past six years and I just don't think he is the right man for the job.

We have one of the worst offensive lines in the entire NFL and Ireland has spent millions of dollars over the past six years in building this terrible OL.

The secondary continues to be a problem area and yet Ireland has drafted many players and signed numerous free agents to fix this group over the past six years. Again, with very limited success.

This past off season he cut Burnett and Dansby and signed Ellerbe and Wheeler. I don't get cutting two better LB's, just to replace them with LB's which aren't as good as the players you cut.

He let Reggie Bush go in free agency and left this Dolphin team with perhaps the worst running back group in the league. Other than two decent runs in five games, Miller has done nothing. Thomas has been a bust since he was drafted, yet he somehow is still on this roster. That clearly shows how inept Ireland is in talent evaluation.

Other than a couple of plays by Jordan, one catch by Sims and the kicking of Sturgis, the Dolphins have really gotten nothing else from the draft which was suppose to vastly improve this roster. There are many rookies starting and helping their teams this year in the NFL, but the Dolphins do not now have one single starter on their offensive or defensive unit from the 2013 draft. This might make sense if the Dolphins were a championship caliber team and they had talent throughout the starting roster. It makes no sense when they have been a sub 500 team for the past two years and this draft was suppose to be the key for them becoming a playoff team.

If you are happy with the overall team and you want Ireland to stay, that is your choice. I just don't think he will ever be able to select the talent needed to get the Dolphins to next level and that is why I would love to see a new GM for the Dolphins by next season.

Ok so LBsFinest and STColeridge and then a vague, nameless, faceless bunch of "others" that you use as an excuse to call out a plurality of the board.

    Case dismissed. Moving on.

You said the same here that you did before my post. Which clearly illustrates you aren't actually paying attention.

Simple yes or no question, to see if you are actually able to see the difference...can you see the difference between my first list and second list in the post you quoted? Yes or no?

So, you want a list of posters called out before you'll admit that people have been extremely negative, even though that's against TOS?

He gave you a way to find what he was talking about with breaking TOS, its not his fault you didn't do it.

Thanks FinD... If anyone is really interested in who the posters CK is interested in are, and not just arguing for the sake of argument as to whether the comments were made, they can search for the posts and posters themselves, who did make these remarks. I am not going to go back over two weeks of posts searching for individual comments just to argue with CK, who's question wasn't about the actual number of posters to begin with, but whether these comments had actually been made.

There was an extreme lot of negativity following first the Saint's loss, and now the Raven's loss. Sucks that the fans are turning on each other as well as the team.

If anything this year, with a 3-2 start, the coaches certainly haven't done a good enough job putting players in the right positions. Mike Sherman's shied away from the run game week after week. Kevin Coyle's scheme was trainwrecked by the Saints, but it also hasn't been very good since the Indianapolis game. I think there are serious issues that are underlying this football team on the surface. Miami could very easily be 4-1, but they could just as easily be 1-4. Other than some personnel issues on the offensive line, I don't really see a dire weakness...maybe you could throw RB in that category, but I attribute that more to the coaches' decision to keep using Daniel Thomas as often as they have.

I think more of the problems are what the staff has done with putting players in poorly designed schemes on BOTH sides of the ball. If there's one thing I don't like about Joe Philbin, based of what we saw on Hard Knocks and from what we've heard of him when talking with the media, is that I think he's too hands-off in that he seems to defer too much to Sherman and Coyle. Again, that's what it seems like to me, and I think that needs to change moving forward. Otherwise I fear he may be looking for two new coordinators at season's end, much like Tony Sparano in 2009 and 2010 going from Paul Pasqualoni to Mike Nolan and from Dan Henning to Brian Daboll respectively for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. I really like Joe Philbin and MOST of the staff he's assembled, and I'm not sure how I'd feel about Ryan Tannehill getting a new offensive system thrown at him in his 3rd year, but there needs to be improvement from the staff, maybe even more so than from the players at this point.

*cough* Bring back the 3-4 *cough* - I know padre won't like that.

I've stated several times this offseason that this year is his judgement year, and that we probably should know by midseason what we have in terms of our roster talent, I see know reason to act like you or some others because of a 3 and 2 start if I'm trying to make a rational decision about something as important as this..but keep spinning sir..folks that are habitually criticizing without relativism at 3 and 2 after what was said by those folks including yourself this offseason are acting immature and disingenuine.

Agree. I had penciled in UF and Clemson as our two losses this year. Hopefully the D can help out Jameis and prove me wrong!

No what is sad is the sunshine pumpers cant and wont face the truth . the truth is we are nowhere as good as any of us thought. the pretending by some makes us look good when really we are not. Sure we are better then last year but our weakness glares more with each loss.

here s how I figure it , we gave up too many yards in the Saints game but we showed flashes. the Ravens game we sure as hell should have won that game.

we still struggle to score and our secondary is a mess. the next two games should tell us if we have improved or not.

Yet despite ragging on the "sunshine pumpers" and stating that we are "nowhere as good" as many thought we were (or still can be); by your own admission, we should be 4-1.

We're not that far off, guy. Fix the pass the run blocking, get healthy for a change, and we're still in the playoffs hunt.

ESPN Gameday will be there. Place is gonna be a zoo. Won't be the friendliest atmosphere for FSU to head into with both teams in the national title hunt. Certainly won't be anything Jameis Winston has ever experienced.

That's a little dramatic. It'd be great to be scoring more but we're not struggling. 23 pts/game is just shy of what the past 2 Super Bowl winners averaged. The truth is we score enough points to win games if the defense can become healthy, which us sunshine pumpers have made perfectly clear to you.

I would have rather had Sebastian Vollmer and Louis Vasquez than Wheeler and Ellerbe

Vollmer was never leaving NE and Vasquez was a FA who chose to go play with Peyton Manning. Go figure...

As for Wheeler and Ellerbe, they have made plays, not just tackles like Dansby and Burnett. They both have been banged up though, so let's hope they get healthy.
