Lol, that's pretty cool, you've got 7 replies thus far so lets see, hmmmm, Freddie over stevie????? I know who I would take but I think freddie will get votes based on what a great guy he is.?? He certainly hasn't produced at his position as well as Johnson has relatively speaking.

Bills only missing EJ. Guys are a little nicked up, but they'll have them. Looks like we're going to be missing Ellerbe, which hurts.

So I knew humility wasn't one of your strong suits, but apparently arithmetic isn't either. By 7, you must have meant 42. Of which a whopping 8 believe Stevie is our best player of the past 4 years, vs. 25 who say Fred Jackson.

I guess you know better than me AND most other Bills fans, too. Huh?

And now we're at 50, with Stevie sitting strong at 10 votes.

Believe it or not, I didn't come here to learn something about the Bills. But, it's a shame you couldn't use this as an opportunity to do so.

no you proved me wrong, bills fans think freddie has been the better player over stevie over the last four years, 60% and sh@&.... Damn, has stevie worn out his welcome?

Great question. That brings us full circle as I think you rightly detected a little annoyance in my first post that went into detail about Stevie.

Worn out his welcome? Well. First there was the OT drop in the endzone against Pittsburgh in 2010. That led to him tweeting to God and being the laughing stock of the NFL for a week or two. Then came the touchdown celebrations which drew 15 yard penalties...again...and again...and again (4 to be exact (unless I'm missing one or two)) which ultimately led to a second half benching from Chan Gailey in week 17 of 2011. Then came some more ill-advised online behavior and some all-around childish antics which seemed to feed off one another, then the comments about never working out in the off season, all while reliably dropping passes in the clutch (notably this year in week one against the Pats* when we had them on the ropes).

So, yes. With some Bills fans, he's worn out his welcome. Not many. But some.

But, regardless, he hasn't been as IMPORTANT to our team in the last four years as Fred Jackson, and perhaps others.

His stats--while pretty good--are somewhat meaningless in the grand scheme of things, and particularly when you consider the blunders he's made along the way that have practically offset even some of his better moments.

I agree on Philbin. I have always felt that QB's, head coaches,(unless your name is Cam Cameron), and GM's deserve three years in their positions before there should be any talk of replacing them if they haven't been a success by that period of time. Therefore I believe that Philbin and Tannehill both should have at least this season and next year to show if they are the right men for their positions.

Ireland on the other hand has already had six years as the teams GM and he has already shown that he isn't capable of providing this team with the type of talent it takes to be a SB contender. The OL continues to be a major problem along with the running back position on offense.

On defense the secondary remains mediocre and the LB corp this year is not as good as the LB's in 2012. Ireland downgraded this unit in free agency, not upgrade it.

Because the Bills are playing a a QB who was on the practice squad just a few weeks ago, the Dolphins should be able to beat them this weekend. I still don't see this Dolphin team making the playoffs and a record of 8-8 is about where I see them finishing this season. After six years with Ireland as the Dolphins GM, this team should be a legitimate SB contending team and it just isn't. Ross needs to come to his senses regarding Ireland and find a GM who can build this team into a legitimate Super Bowl contender.

I read through about half of it and said to myself, this is pretty good stuff, who wrote this...?

I pretty much agree with the entire article. The Bills are not a push over at all, especially playing us. Gotta get the run game going, if not it'll probably be another nail biter.

This is a tough game. Bills seem like they r swimmin down stream. Us? Well, ...

Bro, the oline has nothing to do with this game nor any other game. We know what we have. What i do know is that we have a team. I mean, its if 2007- not so hurt. When u dont got it, u dont got it. But we got something. And hurts so much more when we lose a game u just know was in reach.

Dude, coaches are killing us. They r. I know it sucks to say. Philbin, all around- no im a fan so i have to bs- is likeable. More than ne 1 weve had so far. But i believe SF fired their OC and won a super bowl?

Bro, im telling you, chances favor the bold. More than that, wins favors those who do off the page. Ive seen Brady go shotgun for an entire half. Who does that, man? R u kidding me? U know who? Great coaches. Guess who brought a back-up legend to a historic team. Coaching is killing us, bro. Believe it.

Well, should be interesting to see if Coyle agrees with Ck analysis, play back, and let him try to beat you from the pocket, Coyle was pretty adamant this week that it's now time for his defense to attack and dictate.

Would be nice to be able to run the ball against the 28th ranked run defense. At home coming off a bye when their legs should be well rested with the Bills coming off a tough game. If they can't run tomorrow, well then I think we can lose any hope of running well this season. They need to actually call some running plays though.

This team just flat out sucks all across the board aside from the DL and special teams. Very sad.

The sad thing is the Bills don't even look that good either. Dolphins just look like a staming pile of s--t so far, or the 2007 Dolphins. Take your pick.

Being the Bills, this game is ripe for a Miami comeback. Actually, I EXPECT a Miami comeback. But watching this team play so terrible makes the Patriots chances at hitting 7-1 seem like as sure a bet as you can make. You give the Pats a comfy lead they won't let it go.

Hahaha. We just pulled a screen to our running back, who blocked on the play. Either Sherman is an idiot, or Miller is.

Well we completed the comback that I expected. NO excuse to lose this game now. Defense needs to keep it up and they need to blow this game open and make us forget about that terrible 1st quarter and chalk it up to Bye week cobwebs.

And the JETS are actually winning...wow.

Checking back in: Freddy was our best player on offense.

Mario showed up when it mattered.

Stevie had some bad drops and did a whole lot of nothing.

And to revisit my original post in this thread: thanks for Carpenter.

You had better coaching IMO and you're team was fired up at the start. As typical, and predictable, we came out flat and sluggish. We never seem to get up for any team to start the game.

Freddy had 85 combined yards and a TD. Stevie moved the chains some, but yeah, 6 catches for 61 yards on 13 targets is pretty MEH.

Glad Carp was the hero for you guys. He let us down one time too many the past couple seasons when the game was on the line. Today was a perfect kicking day for him - short chip shots with no wind when he had to kick.

Hate we spotted you 7 to start and left 10 more out there with the other INT and the missed 51 yard FG. One we honestly should have won.
