Where you getting that Sherman is getting full blame here? There is a lot to blame but he's at the top of the list and he has been a meathead all season long. He's got to go.
Despite the turnovers we were in position to win but Sherman has to be cute and throw on 2nd down. 2nd and 8 you run the damn ball. Even if you only get 2-3 yards it's a shorter pass play option with a higher percentage to complete. We got away from the run game late as usual and the sacks starting coming.
Maybe we'll beat the Buccaneers and they'll give Ireland a 3 year extension and buy Sherman a penthouse suite.
Well, Miami's on the fast track to 3-5. They had two weeks to prepare for Buffalo. There's no way this coaching staff is going to prepare them to win in New England and then turn around and beat Cincinnati on a short week. Remember the Tennessee and first Buffalo games last year? These next two are going to be worse.
I thought Henning was bad ... we've hit a new low with Sherman. Maybe we're seeing why Philbin wasn't allowed to call plays in Green Bay because if he is going to back Sherman anymore then they both need to go.
How do you not run the ball... With the lead... Around midfield? I'm not as knowledgeable as some posters here but come the **** on. Even if we punt.. They would of been pinned back by fields. Why so serious?
Really didn't mean to thank this. Win probabilities change and ours was probably high before the third one. We took the lead after the two picks so they don't end up factoring into the loss much if at all. Sent from my GT-P3110 using Tapatalk
The Jets are being smart and running the ball. Something we're too stupid to do. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
Who called the play call on the last turnover? We should've been running the ball. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk
I agree that coaching has been less than impressive. They did not show up looking well rested and prepared today and play calling on both sides of the ball was lacking in basic situational awareness. RT was pretty disappointing too. I understand the line in front of him sucks but he was making bad choices with the ball and his accuracy was off as well. The missed FG hurt us too
Having a lead with 4 minutes left and throwing 9 times and running 4 times. Throwing on 2nd down, with the lead. Yes, Tannehill made mistakes but he got us back in the game. If we run the ball even 50% of the time inside 4:00 we win this game. Sherman is a clown.
Ireland and Sherman need to go. Ireland assembled this horrible OL. Clabo has to be the worst OT in the league. You let Long walk, draft Martin who I'm starting to doubt will ever be a quality OT and you sign Clabo as your plan to solidify the OL. You just can't win football games if you can't protect your QB. On top of that, RTH has to stop turning the ball over so much. What was disappointing about Sherman is this game is we go away from the run in the 2nd half when we were running the ball effectively in the 1st half.
Some of the worst play calling in this game I have ever seen since I started watching football, we were actually running the ball great today and to seal the game hes still dropping back to pass 3 times, like I just dont get it, how are you an NFL O-coordinator and make decisions like that. Im stunned.
It's because the defense will not think of us to pass when the run game is working. -Sent from my TMO Samsung Galaxy Note 3 using Tapatalk
Our playcalling went from being bad to downright awful on the 3rd and less than inch against the Saints. If this team really cared about winning they'd fire Sherman and cut Clabo.
he can take Clabo with him. the most critical plays in the game from his side cost us. ridiculous calls and execution. the drive at the end of the half and the TD after that were classic. why NOT be so predictable? getting sick of the HUT- HUT run the ball cadence. this **** has to stop, i saw every run play they ran ALL game. EDIT: Yeah bash me how they ran the ball well. WE LOST when it mattered.
Not to mention telegraphing the plays via formation. We go shotgun the back lined up in front of Tanny...well that's a pass. Then the we go shotgun with the back right behind Tanny....then we run. Just stupid
Agreed. You run the ball 3 times, eat clock and punt Buffalo back inside their own 10 again if need be. In Sherms defense it was a 3 step drop, about as safe a pass as you can call.
Whats the point of making a thread...Sherman needs to go. Ok...so what if he does? Hes not going any where this season. Seems like youd have better luck yelling at the sky to stop raining.
a safe call with this oline would be kneeing the ball 3 times and hoping your special teams or defense can score
