Just saw on Around the league that Tan is on the injury report. Anyone else have any other news. Is this a cause for concern? Said it is his shoulder.
Great... us and Chicago... ****ler hurts his vagina and Tannehill his shoulder. Hoping like Hell this isn't serious for Tannehill. Makes me even more irritated about the OLine.
I cant remember it was week 2 or maybe 3 he was listed on it for his shoulder as well. Turned out to be nothing.
Well, anyone could see this coming long ago. Anyone except those who shouted down or ridiculed the notion when I brought it up after game two. Hopefully McKinnie can stabilize this line even a BIT. I mean, really, I don;t think any QB could last a season being hit like this. The bad news is, we have already had our bye week, so Tannehill will not get time to heal up.
I'm expecting Mckinnie and Martin to be bad/below average. But what they could at least do is make the ends work harder for the pressure rather than let them straight up destroy Tannehill like Clabo and Martin have been doing so far. Seattle has just as bad offensive line play as we do, if not worse. They're over coming it. I don't see why we can't.
Im not surprised he is.... He quite possibly could be carrying Mario Williams child after last week...
Of course, what do you expect? Hopefully this doesn't become one of those career-plaguing recurring issues.
Edit: too many hits on plays designed to prevent him from takin hits. We seem to be married to the quick game but I dunno if that gives us the best chance to win right now. I'd rather see more running and deeper passes w check down options as opposed to what we are currently doing.
That first Williams sack was brutal. I can't imagine Matt Moore being thrilled with idea of standing behind that offensive line if for some reason Tannehill can't play.
I seriously concerned we are going to turn him into David Carr 2.0 with the amount of hits he is taking.
We just need to protect him better. I think anyone but Clabo is an upgrade. Even if McKinnie can only slow someone down, that's an improvement.
