Draft Murray... I like the prospect of Tannehill but honestly, I don't know if he will ever be the guy... We need competition to motivate him. We need a vocal leader at quarterback.
No he doesn't. You don't give up on him playing behind this offensive line, with this offensive coordinator.
Actually I give up on him because he folds like a cheap suit. Inaccurate, pocket presence is bad. No a good player
Drafting another quarterback would be ridiculous. You have to fix this offensive line and maybe, depending on Big Paul and Starks, fill gaping holes in the interior of this defense.
As demoralizing a loss as I've ever seen. I wouldn't be shocked if this leads to the team getting blown up, from the front office down to the players.
Garbage time INT there... stupid... no reason for him to be out there, no reason for us to even bother passing there.
I agree Sturgis is not the reason the Dolphins lost today. But I also never felt Carpenter was the reason the Dolphins lost two games last year. After he was cut, there were many fans on here that stated Carpenter was a lousy kicker and Stugis was much better. That hasn't proved to be true this year. As far as the game today goes, the Dolphins lost because they couldn't beat a team that was without their best three defensive players. The coaches of the Dolphins were completely out coached in the second half and the real Dolphin offense and defense showed up in the second half today. I have no idea who that team that showed up in Miami Dolphin uniforms in the first half were. Obviously they left after the first half and the team we have grown so used to took over in the second half. Can anyone say, 7-9 for the third year in a row?
Pats defense - 6 sacks, 8 TFL, 5 PDs, 8 QB hits, 2 INT, 1 fumble. And we're at the bottom of the AFCE now after 2 straight division losses.
Wtf with 40secs left would you put a play at forth and a mile with prevent defense asking Tanny to launch it... He shouldn't have thrown it agreed but you are taking the piss staff...
The calls certainly had some effect on the game. But giving up 24 or being in a position to give up that many points and not score any in the second half is ultimately what you look at. You kind of go in expecting to lose on the officiating front. You have to make you breaks. The Patriots made their breaks and got their typical officiating help.
At least the Saints blew out Buffalo too like they did to us. 5td passes for Brees today. Of course, on the week I face him in my fantasy league lol
It's rough enough trying to beat New England in Foxboro but it's gotta be emotionally demoralizing for players knowing they gotta beat both the Patriots AND the refs.
Yep. This team is a classic example of what happens when you build a team through FA instead of the draft. Gibson out, Keller out, Wallace overrated, Clabo can't block. Too many holes to be filled by FA because of poor drafting.
meh cant even get mad anymore I honestly hate our coaching staff so much atm. Mike wallace plays like a ***** teams decide to blitz in the 2nd half every week and our o-line falls over. Tannehill is avg at best our rbs are avg at best our wr are avg at best pretty much sums up the team. Refs sucked but its in New England i expected nothing less.
Put Manning behind this line, put Marino, Brady, Young, Montana, Brees, Farve whoever behind this line and see what happens....
This team does not have a talent problem it has a coaching problem. The Dolphins if coached by BB would have wiped the floor with the Pats. They're that much better.
Couldn't beat a team at home starting a UDFA QB off the practice squad, and now can't put away an injury riddled division opponent when you're up by 2 TD's. I'm convinced there's a curse on this team.
