I like Ryback. Unfortunately, his heat suffered death via Cena.

Looks like Cody Rhodes vs Goldust will happen at some point, which I'm a fan off. Goldust wanted this match for a long time.

Yeah the problem is the WWE's top two heels right now are Triple H and Brock Lesnar who are both part timers at best. Bryan right now is feuding with Triple H essentially which leaves Punk really without a real feud. The WWE just doesn't have any big time heels which is why we'll probably end up seeing Big Show as a heel soon.

Outside of anything to do with Triple H and Bryan the WWE really has no direction right now.

Heyman makes the Ryback feud relevant. I thought their interaction last night was masterful. In fact, most of everything clicked last night.

-Usos are starting to become a team that fans get behind. They work solid, have a decent look and now seem to be in good standing with WWE. Good for them. Along with The Real Americans and the PTP, WWE has options for The Shield.

-That giant swing by Cesaro will make him a fan favorite if he keeps doing it.

-I think we are headed more towards the Rhodes family vs. The Shield before we get the Cody/Goldust match.

-Daniel Bryan is as over as anyone I have seen in...well maybe ever. And that is no joke. The guy is extremely red hot, week in and week out. I'm curious how long this can last.

-They need to do something with Bray Wyatt...quickly.

Maybe it's because I grew up with those classic title belts but they're all so much nicer looking then the ones they have today. I really wish they would go back to those.

Wow, just read the results of last night's PPV and seems like the WWE really dropped the ball on this one. Kind of get the feeling that the WWE is rethinking the whole Daniel Bryan thing due to lower ratings. I hope not but they do like to panic and with Cena gone they need to blame someone.

This PPV just shows they need to reduce the number of pay-per-views and just give the c shows away for free. This could've been pretty great if people weren't paying 40 bucks to watch it.

Also, people just want to see Bryan win, enough is enough. Let's hope at HIAC Bryan gets a definitive win against orton and we can advance this storyline.

The WWE will never reduce the number of PPVs. That's not really the problem, having 2 minor PPVs in one month and charging people $55 per PPV and giving them a bad product is.

I think they made the mistake not giving Bryan the title last night. The fans already saw him win the belt twice already only to have him lose it. It's not going to make his next win as special. Plus the WWE keeps telling the fans how Bryan is undersized and doesn't look like a champion and having him keep coming up short isn't going to help him much. It reminds me of when Punk got hot in 2011 and they jerked him around until Survivor Series.

Can't wait for Cena to come back and win all the titles in one night. At this rate the vacated WWE title is going to beat Punk's record for longest title reign in the modern era.

It was a pretty good/physical match too. It was the right call to give them the belts since they're both hot right now but I do wonder where this goes. Maybe to feud with the Wyatts then leading to the break up and a match at WM30?

My dad just won tickets to smackdown taping here in Charlotte, November 5th ! Pretty amped since I havent been to a live event since I went to Armageddon in Fort Lauderdale wayyyyyy back in like 2001 or 2....when HHH fought HBK in a 3 stages of hell match. Also Brock LEsnar F-5'd Big Show! Good stuff, I am pumped about smackdown!

That's pretty cool, especially since the tickets are free. Hopefully the show is a good one, although nothing major usually happens on Smackdown anymore.

Absolutely. Free is always good. I haven't been to a live event since 2002, which was also a Smackdown taping and the first or second event where the WWF was changed to the WWE so everyone in attendance was kind of confused about. The main event was if I remember correctly was Kurt Angle & Chris Jericho vs. Hulk Hogan & Edge that ended with Triple H coming out and hitting everyone with a sledgehammer, also it was the night Batista debuted as D-Von Dudley's bodyguard. Unfortunately it was not free and the rest of the card was eh.

One of my good friends actually works for the WWE and always offers me free tickets when they're in CT but just never have been free or interested in taking him up on the offer. I think I might have to next time just to go again.

Thats crazy both of our last live shows were in 2002. So all the arcs were around the same haha.

I remember Jeff Hardy having a match, I think D-lo brown had a dark match. I remember Batista vividly....Jericho and Angle too.

    Good times.

Before that I went to a house show where The Rock and Hulk Hogan tagged team against Angle and Edge I believe.....****ing awesome! Miami crowd always popped huge for Rock.

Yeah that is kind of crazy, 11 years between shows.

I haven't been to a house show since I believe September 1997, the main event was Bret Hart vs. The Undertaker for the WWF title and Mick Foley wrestled 2 times as Mankind vs. Triple H and again as Dude Love vs. Owen Hart.

As far as TV tapings go, my first live show was a taping for WWF Superstars back in October of 1991, I remember it was there for over 4 hours back in the day where they taped like 3 months worth of squash matches the main event as a non-TV match between Hulk Hogan against The Undertaker and that match lasted no lie 30 seconds, Hogan got into the ring, got attacked by the Undertaker, Hogan reversed an irish whip into a big boot followed by a leg drop and Paul Bearer ran in and hit Hulk with the urn for the DQ finish and the crowd went nuts, in a bad way. Then I went to a RAW taping in 1993, saw Razor Ramon win his first IC title, I think the overall main event was Yokozuna vs. Lex Luger, that was a fun event because it was for a month's worth of RAWs and also featured an IC tournament battle royal that lead to the Razor win. Then went to a RAW taping in December 1997, I believe the main event was Stone Cold, Cactus Jack & Chainsaw Charlie vs. The Rock and the Nation, then that Smackdown taping mentioned before.

Obviously I've been to a ton of house shows growing up as a kid and since WWF headquarters is in CT they put on at least 2 or 3 shows a year so I got to see pretty much every major WWF superstar wrestle from 1991 to 1998 except for the Ultimate Warrior.

YES! So excited to have Cena and Orton are the World champs. Totally glad the WWE is give the fans something new.

Also how do they expect the fans to get behind Bryan when they're consistently having Triple H, McMahon etc telling the fans he's not good enough and putting him down and then having him continue to lose? And they wonder why no one watches the product.

That's all she wrote on Bryan becoming Champ, It would have happened by now if it was gonna Happen. So now Michaels will come out tonight and Blame Bryan for what happened saying that when he kneed HHH that he just super kick him out instincts. Then we do a tradional Survivor Series Match which isn't going to get Bryan the Title either. I was hoping it would happen just to see what could happen and what changes might happen with him being champ. and now it left to Orton who with Cena must compete to see who can do the least amount of moves in a Match.

The problem is all the false title wins for Bryan and the consistent buring of his character without him getting an upperhand. If they gave Bryan the win over Cena at SS and then Orton with Triple H beats him at the end of that PPV followed by Bryan getting screwed out of title wins at the next few PPVs leading to a match where he beats Triple H at Survivor Series leading up to him finally beating Orton at the December PPV or at the Rumble fine. But now Bryan just looks like a loser, much like they made Punk out in 2011, thankfully Punk was good enough to overcome that although his title reign was definitely overshadowed by SuperCena being around main eventing every PPV until Punk turned heel and teamed with Heyman. That's not to say Bryan can't rebound from this but the WWE is making it awfully harder for him now.

I actually don't even have an issue with HBK turning on Bryan if the storyline makes sense and Bryan comes out looking good but from the end of Summer Slam to now Bryan has looked like a chump. The booking makes no sense and the only one who's been benefiting from it all is Triple H, Stephanie and kind of the Big Show. Makes zero sense.

    The rumored Survivor Series card:

Randy Orton vs. Big Show for the WWE title

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan vs. The Wyatt Family

The Shield and The Real Americans vs. The Usos & The Rhodes Family in a tradition SS match

Dean Ambrose vs. Big E Langston for the US title

No word on what John Cena is going to be doing on the show.

Also the rumored main event for the December TLC is Triple H vs. Big Show. So really so much for Daniel Bryan's push. Glad the WWE is going to give Show another (failed) run at the top. I mean he's only been with the company since 1999 and hasn't ever drawn a dime at the top. But hey why not right?

Man what an electric night. We ended up being almost floor seats. Our own club lounge (our section) and we saw some good matches. Alberto got some fantastic heat. He played his role of bad guy perfectly to the southern North Carolina crowd. Saying he's better than us cause he's Mexican. Lmao good heat. I yelled "nacho libre" at one point and got a bunch of laughs.

Also every time a backhanded chest slap happens I yell Ric Flairs WOOOOOOOO real loud check to see if you hear it.

My son went insane when Cena came out. The crowd generally loved him but you can tell the Bryan/punk marks that chanted "Cena sucks" every time we chanted "let's go Cena" classic.

Ryback and cenas main event got huge pops and even got half the area chanting "this is awesome!!" After Cena kicked out of the spear and jackhammer (which of course garnered huge GOLLDDDBBEERRGGG chants)

All in all. Awesome event. "Main event" was good. Xavier Woods had a dark match and he popped good and did well.

Huge Wyatt family tonight. Shoved down our throats it seemed but I enjoy the schtick.

"Main event" had the Wyatt brothers tag against the prime time players and damn the crowd was hot for that match. Good stuff. And the one Wyatt brother with the stained tank top and black hair was ****ing born for this role. He gets such good reactions from the crowd being a bad guy. Good stuff!

Side note: I know hes known for it, but I wanted to say how awesome John Cena is. After Smackdown ended, he had another random match with Alberto Del Rio, after his long *** match with Ryback......Cena was exhausted. Cena won after a couple of scares, and Del Rio left to some heat, Cena grabbed the mic, thanked Charlotte, got us in a section "whose louder?" match....then went out, went over the wall to a boy in a wheel chair who was there for "make a wish" and he talked to him, got the crowd to chant for him, gave him his shirt and hat, and all around was an incredible guy. That kids dying wish was to be there, and I was there for free maybe 20 feet behind him.....puts things in perspective and its very humbling. Anyways, it was an awesome moment to share with my son, and Cena will always have a fan in this "attitude era" mark....

Also since I forgot to mention up there ^^

CM Punk and Daniel Bryan popped massive! I saw sooooooo many "yes!" signs....his chants were legendary....and watching the entire crowd throw their hands up yelling "yes!!" was awesome! When Bryan was being jumped by Wyatt family, we all were chanting CM Punk! And when he ran out in his grey hoody holy hell did we pop! Great stuff!

Yeah when your kid says "dad can we just live there and keep watching wrestling?!?" You know you created a fan for life.

Also for the record my son called Ryback "Mongongous"

He created a word for him. Well deserved too, his trap muscles were the size of ****ing canoes.
