I agree that Team A has a championship caliber team and should probably not try to get too cute. I know it can be difficult staying put, especially when you have enough quality guys you have lots of trade options and always should be looking to upgrade. With that team though I would only take one-sided deals or wait to see if one of my guys gets injured and you're forced to seek help through trades.

I'd find a better flex then by trading Cameron.

no, the other putz.... the one whose third RB seems to be McGahee. I'd consider sacrificing a few points per week with Matthews instead of Cameron if it means providing RB insurance. I did that in our league by trading Cameron & Darryl Richardson for Sproles to give me a third solid starting back. Besides, Matthews is running strong and was finally given his first redzone opportunity since his week 2 fumble against Philly, and he converted the TD, so perhaps he'll earn more redzone touches moving forward, especially with Woodhead having just 1 rushing TD on 8 attempts inside the 10, and for the season Matthews has only 1 fumble in 110 attempts compared to Woodhead's 2 in 46.... and Matthews is averaging 4.1 YPC compared to Woodhead's 3.9 and Brown's 3.2

Thing is its a 12 team highly competitive league and no one seems to be willing to make a move. Keeping Cameron on the bench seems to be costing me matchups....I do want a better flex believe me. I hate mathews but he starts and ill need another back..

wait, so your Flex is comprised of just RB/WR and not TE? If so I'd go for the extra back, too. Is Matthews on the other GM's bench?... and who are the other GM's backs & TE?

Ridley is just to much of a question mark in terms of carries. Atleast with the other 2 you can bank on the touches, especially near the GL.

Zac Stacy vs Seattle or Jeremy Kerley vs Cincinnati for my flex? PPR.

I'm leaning Kerley at the moment but wanna make sure sitting Stacy is the right decision this week.

Possibly but don't you think he'll be needed to stay in to protect the quarterback?

Tough call. Stacy's matchup is obviously awful. Makes it even worse that his QB is out.

Kerley though usually follows up a decent game with a dud.

I think I'd take Stacy and hope for a goaline TD.

With Doug Martin out I'm a little thin at RB. So the issue I have this week is Pierre Thomas or Roy Helu? It's almost a coin flip at this point. I'm currently sitting with Thomas in the lineup.

Team A (8-0) in my league is trading Matt Ryan, Stevan Ridley, and Hakeem Nicks for Jamaal Charles of Team B (2-6). League is 14 team PPR with IDP, passing yards and touchdowns are counted the same as rushing/receiving, bonuses for 40 yard+ plays. What do you guys think of the trade?

What By said. Team B is essentially trading Ridley for Charles because Ryan isnt (or at least shouldnt be) starting over C Kap and the same can be said for Nicks.

I traded Boldin for Mcfadden the other week because I needed a back for my bye week. I currently have Forte and Trent, so would it be safe to say I should now start Mcfadden in Richardson's place this week and until I see some life out of Trent?

I would base it on match up. Trent seems to have the makings of a true bust where mcfadden has flashed ability and just need blocking

I'm Team A. I was just taking a stab at it and maybe preparing for a counteroffer. In our league passing yards are 1 point for 10 which really weakens running QBs (I didn't make the rules). Ryan is 6th in terms of average points per game for a QB and CKap 29th. I know their stock arrows are pointing different directions but in this league you really need a strong QB. I just hope he didn't accept it just because he doesn't care anymore, I'm wanting to win but in a fair manner.

In that case it does change the opinion a bit if pass yards are equal to rush yards per point. I actually like that better because players like Terrelle Pryor should not be worth what Ryan or Brady are.

Yeah this week is tough because they both have pretty even matchups, Dmac @ Philly and Trent @ Houston but Trent is coming off a bye. He's been such a dissapointment so I might just go with McFadden. Man I get so angry because I took Trent over Charles at 9 thinking he was gonna be the workhorse in Cleveland. I'm still doing well in my league sitting in 2nd because Forte has been carrying me but imagine Charles And forte, smh.

Charles was still available at 9?

I got laughed at in my league when I took him 2nd overall.

Come Thursday that will be my team! :tongue2:

I was hoping Charles would last until 9 in my draft since that was my pick but doubted it would happen, took Forte at 9 since Charles went at 5.

Yeah he went 10th and I knew that going in too. I knew nobody in my league trusted him that much, so I had to make a choice between him and trent and man did I screw up lol. Yeah I got lucky and Forte fell to me coming back with my 2nd pick, I couldn't believe it.

Would you guys claim Marvin Jones off waivers this week? PPR League, 3/71 1TD, 4/57 1TD, 8/122 4 TD in the last 3 games or do you think he'll fall off back to nothing.

He'll probably go back to 3-4 rec for 50-60 yards with a touchdown sprinkled in now and again...

Probably not but it depends on the depth and competition level in the league. For instance in my 12 team big money league its a bunch of animals in there and they react to every bit of talent so there is literally nothing good left in FA. Not even 1 week fill in types. We also start 3 wr and a flex in that league which makes it tough. In my 8 team work league or my 12 team less crazy money league I would not pick up Jones or at least I wouldnt waste a waiver spot (or a significant FAAB bid). Hes a decent matchup play but I question how much he will get targeted going forward. It seems like Dalton and the Bengals make a point to get AJ his targets but they dont force feed anyone which is what youre looking at at wr and te.

Who would you guys start this week?

    Dalton or Russell Wilson?

Wilson is going up against TB, which speaks for itself, but Rice is out for the year now.

Dalton is also unbelievably hot right now.
