I think the only thing better than watching the Heat stuff Rose, AGAIN, is listening Michael Wilbon's blind homerism saying the Bulls positive is they "re-established" Derrick Rose.

Big superstar you got there Wilbon, re-established himself shooting 27% with 5 turnovers.

It was great to see Wade leap up and block Rose at the end of the game.

Lol, you seriously predicted this Clipper team to make the finals Section? Bunch of non defense playing, cant function in a half court offense scrubs plus Cp3 is not make the finals. Theyll be lucky (and by lucky I mean coached well) if they get home court for a round. Theyre not better then Sas, Memphis or OKC. If theyre better then Houston that might be a bit surprising. Not impressed. They look like the same team.

If you watch ESPN, you would think the Bulls beat the Heat with all this Rose coverage.

    **** him.

Chalmers OWNS HIS SOUL. It is uncanny how RIO outplays Rose so often Head2Head.

Oh I know. Im just not seeing them as a finals caliber team. I truthfully struggle seeing them beating SAS, OKC, Memphis and maybe even a healthy GSW team in the playoffs. They have nothing offensively aside from CP3 in the playoffs. They'll win 50+ regular season games but Im not a fan of that roster.

Thats one of those strange but freaky things. Like how Raja Bell always played well vs Kobe or Lebron historically doesnt shoot well vs Igoduala. Theres no question which player is much better, its just a matchup issue.

Meh... I really dislike that song so I'm not a fan.

They have fantastic footage but I just don't think they really matched the intense "look" with their song selection.

I was pretty disappointed when I seen it because I thought it'd be sweet when the behind the scenes clip was posted. I would have loved to see a more dramatic cut of music.

IMO the two biggest factors in winning championships are being able to attract talent that fits together and getting that talent to buy into a system. Riley has proven very adept at attracting talent that fits together. That includes not only the superstars (Shaq, Lebron, Bosh), but also those supplementary pieces that are vital to championship runs (Miller, Allen, Anderson, etc.). And Spoelstra has proven adept as a coach. I think he's up there with the best schematically. He doesn't have the best scheme every game (no coach does), but he was certainly Popovich's match last year and Popovich is generally considered one of the best coaches. And perhaps more importantly Spoelstra's been great at getting all of his players to buy in. He keeps them motivated. He challenges them to expand their games. If Lebron is really about maximizing his chances of winning championships (which I believe he is), then I don't see any situation out there that provides him a better opportunity. And I think that's the case regardless of what happens with Wade and his health.

You know how people say "if you build it (A winner) they will come"?

    Well....

Season opener for the Heat last night...Average ticket sale price on secondary market was exactly DOUBLE that of a average ticket sale price for the New York Knicks Home Opener.

and yes..I was priced OUT. The tickets made available to me were for $180. Pass...(I will only pay that for a ECF or Finals game)

While I agree, I really think it takes even more of a special person to win in Miami....Miami is a hard place to win....there have been many people to go down there and crap out, that's what makes LBJ in my eyes, a rare talent (ditto for Wade). There are just so many obstacles that get in your way down there. If you aren't focused and mature, you won't win. LBJ is mature beyond his years, he blocks out all the distractions that come with being down there. He has kind of pimped that city and they love him.

My guess is that he opts out only to just extend his contract in Miami and retire there.....probably gets a max too, and the others around him should take less to make that happen....that goes for Bosh, Wade etc....after what he did 2 years ago and especially last year, followed by what he could do this year and beyond.

Why would you want to possibly ruin something that comes around once in SEVERAL generations....why are talking like Mariano Rivera iconic legend type stuff.....

It just blows that Miami will get the best ball player to ever grace a ball court and the football team can't even put their godamn pants on correctly....

Wade resting tonight, per Spo. the maintenance program starts ridiculously early. I actually wouldn't expect Wade to play on many B2Bs, unless they are both at home.

Also, per Ethan, no inactives listed yet and Oden was working, so it's possible he dresses tonight. Beasley will definitely play.

    Just outside Philadelphia, Bucks County.

Yeah, we have not had much to cheer about besides the Phillies title in 2008. Dolphins haven't given us anything in recent memory. Flyers are usually good, but never elite, and same goes for the Sixers up until this year.

You knew the lead wouldn't last. The Heat just had to get their legs underneath them. It is actually fun to watch the Sixers play at this up tempo pace. It beats having to watch them in the slow pace that they played in under Collins.

Not sure if the Bucks are really this bad or if the hammy injury to Brandon Knight sustained very early has something more then usual to do with the Bucks down 23. If they are this bad, Philly is going to have some competition for the ping pong ball Winggins race. I know the Knicks liked Nate Wolters and obviously the Bucks did when they picked him but i dont think the Bucks wanted their 2nd round pick playing big minutes in game 1.

Bull****, the streets are never empty in the morning and I'm pretty sure he'd be ran over if he took US 1 to the AAA.
Maybe's he'd be okay if he took S Bayshore Drive.
