Anyone planning on seeing this? Pixar makes some pretty good movies, and this one is getting amazing reviews on RT. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/wall_e/?page=4&critic=columns&sortby=date&name_order=asc&view=#mo edit: just saw the Disney thread, you can merge this in there if you want.
Going to CT to see Pearl Jam this weekend, otherwise we'd be at the theater. This has looked amazing from the beginning. Read a review in the NY Post that called it a masterpiece. I'm really excited to see it.
Pixar can do no wrong. I'll be there as soon as possible. Leave it to Disney to make a robot that's cute.
Isn't Pixar and Disney splitting up after this movie or something? I heard not that long ago Pixar and Disney had a falling out and that Pixar is going to be doing movies independant of Disney...
that doesn't bother me.......... I just can't go alone, then people might see me as a pervert...............
Dude!! Where's the spoiler alert!?! sheesh, warn a brother before you give away the entire plot! Glad you liked it.
I found the moving touching. I loved it when Spoiler the other bots at the end had the decency to leave Wall-E and EVA alone when they saw them together at the end.
What a fantastic, moving picture. I can't recommend it highly enough, and I strongly suggest fence-sitters (I'm looking at YOU, Lucky!) see it in the theater.
I dunno man, me and my buddy when to see ninja turtles last year because we both grew up with it, and these middle school kids thought they were so funny talking and acting out and crap. I wanted to risk going to jail to shut them up,
that can't happen, Disney owns Pixar now. Apple used to own it, but they sold it a couple of years ago... so.
With a 2 and 4 year old, this is all I have heard about for about 3 months straight Will wait till its at the $3 movie..which usually is withing 6 weeks. ALL the clips I have seen are amazing, and has already been noted, Pixar can do NO wrong.
Thanks for the input guys. I really expected no less of Pixar but good to hear its as good as the hype Gonna see that and Get Smart soon.
Good movie, I liked it. I dont see it as the best Pixar movie or that it was the perfect movie and all the other stuff being said. Just the usual really good stuff that Pixar makes.
This might be the best movie of the year, and this is coming from a comic guy that saw Iron Man 3 times. I saw Wall-E yesterday. Loved the ideas, loved the concepts, loved the execution. Probably my favorite Pixar movie since the Incredibles. I will probably take my wife to it this week when I get back home. Those of you that have been thinking about going, you should. As a kids movie, it's pretty near perfect. As a Sci-Fi film, it's also pretty near perfect.
Agreed, it was a good movie but not the best I've seen lately. Definitely recommend it though, especially if you have kids.
Finally saw it yesterday afternoon, I read all the hype, and review after review at aintitcool calling it a masterpiece, and I wasn't disappointed at all. I had a grin on my face the whole time. These Pixar guys are geniuses.
Maybe I will have to check it out.....honestly that last time I had that feeling/expression was "Finding Nemo".
Saw it Friday night. Brilliant. I don't think Pixar is capable of making a bad movie....and leave it to Disney to make even a cockroach cute.
i didn't like cars and haven't watched many of the recent pixar movies........would you guys consider wall-e better than monsters inc or maybe even toy story?
Your opinion. Apparently, there are many (myself included) who disagree with you, otherwise it wouldn't have been the hit that it was.
