We have a great chance at being 7-4 in the next 3 weeks:

    Tampa 0-8
    San Diego 5-3
    Carolina 4-4

    This is do-able

Certainly, my one quibble is seeing how the new offensive line shakes out

    Clabo/Jerry/Pounce/Garner/McKinnie

Clabo was benched for ineffectiveness, Garner is really a RG and McKinnie SHOULD be integrated into the offense by now.

Real "X" factors for us is how well Matthews fills in for Gibby, and if Patterson can stay healthy and can Egnew do more in the receiving game, to me signs point to "yes", have to see it on the field.

Tampa is a freebie, especially coming off that debacle of a second half. That's two in a row if you include Cincy .

Beyond that, Diego is hot/cold streaky and Carolina is a damn good team, imo, they could make some real playoff noise. That'd be a great win.

Carolina has never beat Miami. We have their number, just like the Texans have ours.

The sky will fall if Tampa Beats Miami. Tampa is desperate for a win and they play close in most games it might get uglier.

If there was any win that I thought was automatic it would be the game against Tampa. Then they DAMN near beat Seattle. No we'll have to see. Chargers and Carolina are both as inconsistent as the Dolphins.

If they're as good as we think they are then, yeah they should win all 3 games. The Chargers lost to the Skins! and they'll be playing another game cross country.

If Tampa beats us. The season is over! 7-9 again for us.

I almost wonder if it would have been better for us if the Bucs get off the snide this week so they won't be so desperate when the Dolphins come to town.

Tampa's strength is their secondary. If there was ever a game to rely heavily on Lamar Miller this would be it. The Dolphins have handled elite QBs well all season, I'm not to worried about this thing they have called Mike Glenon.

Certainly not, I've just been hearing people refer to them as this new force to be reckoned with after showing up for one half in Seattle.

I don't want to look ahead, but atleast there's a topic for fans who have their eyes on the prize.

The chargers and panthers games will be played right here, if we can beat the Bucs and chargers we could afford to lose to Carolina and our two jets games would likely decide the last playoff spot.

They're more demoralized than desperate, imo. That loss was devastating. Their WRs get no separation, their QB is a disaster with any pressure on him, their front seven sucks against the run besides Lavonte David who's a stud.

This is not a cut at anyone on here because it makes me smile in wonderment...... and shake my head..............but I don't see how we can say we SHOULD beat anyone. With the crappy oline that might just have gotten worse with the turmoil, I see no cake walks. There's no telling how the TEAM will take all this crap storm either............fight....or fold........Will they give up?
Those aqua colored glasses are amazing, though.

Chargers almost traditionall fall off the second half of the season but im not to proud to say they do have a better team than ours. Although I would say the Bengals, Colts and Falcons do as well and we managed to pull those off so as the above poster said 'ANY GIVEN SUNDAY' Baby!

Of course the Dolphins could win the next three and get to 7-4. Then again, they could win their remaining regular season games, finish the season 12-4 and go on and win the Super Bowl. Anything is possible, especially in the NFL.

What is more likely though is that the Dolphins will finish the regular season with a 4-4 record over their last eight games and end the season 8-8. That is about the best I see them doing with the remaining games they have left on their schedule.

They just lost to the Redskins.

I believe we'll beat Tampa, as for distractions, Kraken posted a pic on twitter out at sea on a yacht, real issue is Incognito was telling McKinnie what his job was via code, however by the time the game rolls around he'll have been here almost a month so he should not have to rely on Garner for the same tip offs.

In fact, suspect we kick TB's butt, think this 4 game stretch sets up nicely for us, especially with the Oline shake up, watch it works out and Davie will be like "knew it all along" when they actually trotted the same poorly performing starters out for weeks, it took a darn near Divine intervention to have any changes made.

Except for the Saints game the Dolphins have shown up against every team they've played. And even then, they had a shot up until Tannehill started giving the ball up.

I think we were all certain the Dolphins would beat the Buffalo Bills at home and they shocked us with a Pick 6, 3 plays in and a 4th quarter fumble with the lead. So who knows what will happen next Monday.

Hopefully by then the Martin situation will be clearer. But as mentioned on this site this issue will be kept alive by the 4-letter to market what most would consider a dog of a game.

Hopefully the Defense will be 100% next week and I think Incognito actually hurt the team with his antics. (call that teal-colored glasses if you'd like) The team actually held up rather well against a stout Bengals Front 7 when Incognito got injured.

I will be very surprised if Miami can beat Carolina. Carolina has been kicking people's butts and winning by huge margins. Tampa is a winnable game, San Diego...maybe.

Panther have beaten: Giants, Vikes, Rams, Bucs and Falcons.

None of those teams are good, most are absolutely horrible.

If you look at the other teams in the AFC East, you will notice that they have also played every opponent tough, except in a couple of instances. In fact the vast majority of games in the NFL are only won or lost on a few plays during a game. The better teams make the plays to win the majority of their games. Mediocre teams sometimes make the plays necessary to win and sometimes they don't. Bad teams tend to always find a way to grasp defeat from the jaws of victory more often than not.

Right now the Dolphins would have to be considered a very mediocre teams, based on their record and there inability to consistently make the plays necessary to win the majority of their games.

What's confusing is the Pats only put up 6 points (I think) against the Bengals who then went on to blow out the Jets.

Then the Jets go beat the Saints, who we lost handily to.

    It's hard to predict.

I guess according to your view of the Panthers, the Dolphins can't prove anything by beating an overrated Panther team, but they can prove they are horrible if they lose to the Panthers.

I also don't remember anyone on here stating the Falcons were horrible after the Dolphins beat them. Instead most people were saying that it was a great win against a quality team.

When the Dolphins played the Falcons everyone thought they were great, then they went on two lose to another 2 AFC East teams at home. They're average at best.

The Giants and Vikings are both horrible teams. Bucs are too.

And they dominated them, the way good teams should dominate bad teams. We played three bad teams so far and lost to two of them. At home.

The Browns are a bad team? The Ravens aren't good but they aren't horrible.

The Bills almost beat the Chiefs with something called Jeff Tuel at the helm. AND the Bills beat the Panthers too.

I'm not excusing those losses but don't compare those games to playing the Giants and the Vikings this year.

Maybe so,BUT, to this point they`ve giving up a league low 106 points. Thats impressive regardless of their opponents.
