Just watched a video clip on my NFL app that was talking about possible qbs the packers might bring in to start for Rodgers while he recovers from a shoulder injury he just got while playing the bears on Monday night football. They were talking about Matt Flynn since he was just released, Seneca Wallace and someone else I forgot. There was no mention of Matt Moore but the thought crossed my mind. I think Matt Moore is the best back up qb in the league and we can use extra picks to get some o-lineman.
Just a thought. What do you think? First we have to see how serious Rodgers injury is and find out if he will miss a significant amount of games for this to even be a possibility, but I would give them a call and see what I could get for Moore if I were Ireland.

Trade deadline was last week. Delete this thread before you're made fun of.

One. The trade deadline has passed. Two, Matt Moore is not good, not wanted. Three, there's a great chance we need him now with how much weaker our OL just got these list two weeks.

So to sum it all up... NO

Since our QB is getting sacked at a record pace and now we have a make shift offensive line. It makes Matt Moore a very valuable insurance policy. Even if we could trade him I would hope they wouldn't.

The more I think about it the more I agree. Matt Moore isn't great but he's proven he can win. So I like him as an insurance policy. But you never know if devlin can tie the NFL rd record in one game like foles did.

Somebody might give up a 6th or a couple 7th's come the middle of next March. He may not have the strongest or most accurate arm, but he excels in intelligence, leadership, pocket presence and elusiveness, and he is one helluva a gamer.

There was good reason he was Dolphin MVP in 2011.

IMO, his salary is just too high for a backup QB. He should be moved to a team where he can compete to start. Dolphins are going to need the extra millions in cap space to rebuild their OL next year.

Dolphins should draft Jimmy Garoppolo. I'm not giving up on Ryan Tannehill yet, but Jimmy is GOLDEN.

I would rather have a good backup WB then 6th or 7th round picks
