He is such a good coach that he will never find a job in about 8 weeks.

Wow! That might be one the most naive statements I have ever seen.

    The investigations continue.
    Lawsuits are looming.
    Careers hang in the balance.
Players have affected, and will continue to be affected.
The Dolphins organization is now tainted and will scrutinized for years.

I could go on and on.

It ain't over. Many believe it has hardly even begun.

This is really ugly and it is all bad.

Jonathan didn't even deserve to be on the roster after the year he had last year. It was obvious that he was bad news.

If he would have been replaced this never would have happened and Richie would have walked next offseason and the Dolphins would be getting a high comp pick for him in 15.

As a college coach, I agree with you 100%. As an NFL coach, Saban was in over his head and knew it. That is why he went to Alabama and quit as an NFL HC.

Saban is an excellent recruiter and because of the success of his teams at the college level, he has been able to entice top recruiting classes, year after year. He is also an excellent teacher of YOUNG players. His type of coaching is great at the college or high school level, but not at the NFL level.

Wannstedt obviously was not a great NFL head coach, but he certainly had far more success as a HC of the Bears and Dolphins than Saban did with the Dolphins. Saban is a great HC in the minor leagues of coaching, but he was a failure in the major leagues. No matter how many championships he wins in the minor leagues of football, it won't change the fact that he just couldn't perform as a HC at the highest level of the game.
