You can trust Ray Lewis in a football setting, you can't trust a nut like Incognito. Take the homer glasses off.

He was voted by his teammates to the leadership council.

That says more about him then your rants do.

So you're saying there's no distinction between Richie Incognito on the field during game time and Richie off it? He's the same person? What, just b/c he's a mean sonofab**** on the field and was voted the NFL's dirtiest player it automatically means he's a bastard as a person and teammate?

Apparently not based on the fist bumps you received. But it is, not just because the media decided to cover it (I'm not a fan of the sports media. But come on guys. Let's not freak out every time the media slights the team, real or perceived). No one should have to work in that situation. And being a gigantic ******* who threatens people shouldn't be tolerated.

This story sounds like more bull conjecture from Omar.

And if the threats weren't serious, which it certainly sounds that way?

It's kinda like falsifying an employment application is it not?

I honestly do not know how this applies. I could see a scenario where potential NFL employment would allow some (if not all) teams privy to a release of past medical records for review by staff physicians. Does this merely apply to past physical ailments? I am not sure.

I met a guy who was on the Chiefs staff years ago. If I see him around, I'll certainly bring this up. I honestly would like to know the boundaries.

Unless you lost a child then I wouldn't judge anyone's actions or reasoning for what he did and why. Most people? Do you know most people? You are right you do sound like a nasty SOB.

Isn't it normal for coaches to want younger players toughened up though? This is definitely not the first time I've heard it.

I have never heard of a coach who doesn't look to his vets to guide his younger players. This is absurd that Philbin is taking a hit for something as simple asking a 10 year vet to help out a rookie/sophmore. jesus.

My feeling has been that Incognito never meant any harm, he just went too far. This story seems to support that.

But there are people that claim this is going to a get a lot, lot worse as details come out. It's painful. I just want it to go away so we can focus on football again.

If this isn't the biggest case of turning a mountain into a mole hill then I don't know what is. Is Martin in the hospital on life support or something? Boo-hoo, he spoke to me with vulgar language and hazed me and I put up with it. Get over it.

He once put a banana peel in the recycling bin. Don't worry, he eventually dug it out and placed it in the correct dispenser.

Actually Omar had said for days that the issue was emotional problems not bullying, and this statement does not really contradict that....

Can't wait to see what pussified reasoning comes w the alleged firing of Ireland.

Although that will make it much funnier when we always have Tan Marino as our franchise QB to remember him by.

He once threw an apple core on the side of the road but quickly pulled over to pick it up before a race riot between a group of brown and black squirrels erupted.

This might sound callous but I can't believe we're watching one nut job, with the help of the media, tear at the fabric of the NFL.... and b/c of what? because his "mental problems" left him unable to hack it in such a demanding profession, one that he chose to take part in? Nigeria please.

One that our GM thought was suitable for him and that he warranted a high , valuable draft choice . That he thought he was the answer at RT , err LT?

That we have a failure is as much on the GM as it is on the player , imo.

All depends how well-documented his issues were before the draft. If there was nothing documented then you can't blame him for not knowing Martin was a headcase.

has it been established yet that Martin's "mental issues" were either made aware or were noticeably present during Stanford when he was a back to back All American?

Are you still believing Ireland is the answer ?

How may years and how many mistakes will it take before you think he needs to be replaced?

Presuming we don't make the playoffs and win at least one game , you want him back I take it? To delay success yet again . or is it just around the corner ( next year ) yet again?

I have been involved in scouting ( not football ) ask a team from the mid west if they were told who to take first overall and if they wish they had . We all make mistakes , the thing is after too many it needs to end imho.
