Im not liking this at all..yes I know we dont know everything or will..but Im getting the feeling more and more that this is a player and some lawyers making a money grab. Wheres any player coming out in support of Martin? Even ex Dolphins are behind Incognito Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
The problem you have with this is that OUTSIDERS who don't know anything about the Dolphins or the lockeroom or the situation are chiming in and painting ALL of the players on this team with the same brush. Is this a perfect lockeroom or situation? Far far far from it. Yet you are condemning a lot of people with little information
Ira Kauffman and Mad Dog burying the Phins. Green says they are a fraud top to bottom. Don;t bury me, I can't get to the radio to change the station.
Am psyched as hell how Ryan Tannehill presented himself the way he did. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Ryan did a great job. It really seems this caught the team by surprise. Perhaps this is just something that got blown out proportion and that's unfortunate. I know one thing, I feel like others. This team is going to bond together and kick booty Monday night.
Lol..whoops.. Actually..speaking Mad Dog..what do you all think he would say about all this. You know..there was NO reason for any of this to be made public. None. For someone to release those texts and voice.mails..tells me they wanted to create this circus. Only one person benefits from this crap..Jonathan Martin. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Tannehill looked comfortable & impressive up there. At least someone in the organization seems to have a clear head.
Hear that Miami dolphins, their generalizing you as rasists and bad people, wucha gunna do about it the rest of the season???
Omar getting Clabo's take on it... "What's perceived is that Richie is this psychopath racist, and reality is Richie was a pretty good teammate," Tyson Clabo said. "I don't think what happened was necessary...I don't know why he's doing this. And the only person who knows why is Jonathan Martin," Clabo
Tannehill did an outstanding job talking to the media. He just earned major respect if he didn't have it already from his teammates. Sounds like the Dolphins lockeroom has the back of Richie Incognito to me and the more details we hear, it sounds like Martin is weasel that didn't want to play football and found an excuse to try and earn some cash. I could be flat out wrong, but it is slowly turning against Martin.
I think listening to Darlington there was a HUGE clue that there is a ton of things still out there with this situation that have not even come out yet. So many layers and information that people only inside that building are aware of that have not even scratched the surface yet.
I watched both pressers. I'm really impressed with how Ryan Tannehill handled things; that was well done on his part. A lot of things are still left to play out this season. If anything else, regardless of record, I think the one thing I want to see most is Tannehill's progression. Whether or not it's a new GM or Head Coach or both next season or if at least Joe Philbin and some of the staff are brought back, I want to see Tannehill continue to improve. I absolutely don't want to go through trying to find a new quarterback.
Thanks...Ira Kauffman.Mad Dog (Sirius Radio) was screaming so much about Green thats all I can hear. Mad Dog is not dead, in the tennis & Howard Stern world.
You cant tell me these players are coming out so strong in support of Cogs ..saying they knew nothing..if they knew there was more to the story Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
He's been pretty well spoken every since he revealed he's got BPD; sounds like a changed man. Ricky Williams nailed it with his commentary Monday as well.
I hear what you are saying. I think that these guys just want to do what they do best and that is play football and not deal with this anymore. I just think we are fooling ourselves if we think this is even remotely over and there are not going to be more details coming out that will not shine a good light upon this team and situation
Man, just going off the tweets, it looks like the team is getting rather upset with this whole ordeal (and justifiably so): Tyson Clabo is irate at Jonathan Martin: "I don't know why he's doing this. ... This is ridiculous." - ABeasley Everybody we've talked to says how close they were. Hartline was on fire. - ABeasley Randy Starks on why they're speaking up after initially being told not to talk: We want to clear Richie's name When asked if players could possibly welcome Martin back, Hartline says he has an opinion but won't share it - Abramson Hartline said at one time the voice mail was a joke in the locker room and he believes Martin was one laughing about it - Abramson Hartline says Incognito and Martin were friends, he was extremely critical of voice mails being leaked to media - Abramson Hartline goes off, says #Dolphins players were initially told not to comment cause of investigation - Abramson
One thing I find really interesting is that Hartline brought up the voicemail being played in the locker room and Martin laughing about it. If true, that could change a lot of things...
Hartline said he (or the team, in general) got congratulatory texts from Martin. I'm inferring it was after the Bengals game.
You know theres this talk that maybe Martin has some mental issues..and thats why he may have taken some things wrong. But..tell me this...why the leaks. Somebody is trying very hard to make it seem like Martin was bullied on an unsafe locker room. Again..the only one who benefits from that picture is Martin. Financially I might add. If this is said by multiple players and comes out to be true. This entire story takes a 180... and it looks like it's starting to....#freecogs
I never once thought that there was any malicious intent, I can't believe the irresponsibility of the media and their just plain ignorance...wow
I think part of it could be that because Martin's family, father, grandfather or whatever, are Harvard Grads and even if they're not lawyers(I don't remember) they sure know some good lawyers and Martin could realize that he just can't cut it as an NFL lineman and is going to look for a big payday. Either way, pretty weak. He seems like a big p---y and played like one. I don't know.
You cant tell me Omar and some others arent fapping over the thought this ruins the Phins Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
Have to agree here. Got to give props when they are do, and I've been surprised how patiently Omar's covered this ordeal.
The media was hoping this crushed the Fins, it looks like they just gave the players something to rally behind and play for. Thanks guys.
Yeah, would`nt it be something if the team took all this negativity personal and it provided a spark among the players to go on a tear and kick some ***? The remaining players can form a stronger bond and stronger chemistry among themselves and play with a lot more passion. Wishful thinking ?. Maybe but we can hope ,cant we?
Also, I think Hartlines interview was right on. He told it like it is. Really seems like the players are together on this.
I feel the same. Let's hope yesterday was the beginning of the end of this fiasco, at least, it feels that way. Box media are beginning to back off just a bit. Even Michael Irvin is tired of talking about it, and it's hard to for him not to opine on anything foorball. Unless something significant comes out in the next few days, I think this may slowly blow over. *crossing fingers*
